Without differing views - there is no forum. As long as we keep it civil - I'm sure all opinions are welcome.

the op dosnt like sinclair and explains to us every week that although he appeared to have a good game he was in fact ruining other players performances. the op wants to play a pressing game and just cant fathom out how the manager has managed without using his beloved high pressure pressing tactic and got 2 promotions without it? the op wants all new players including loans to play straight away, why is james clarke and leadbitter playing,he thinks it should be connor roberts and clarke-salter,surely it wouldnt harm the fantastic spirit built up so carefully by are manager if we just chucked out those boring players that got us where we are? thank god dc isnt listening to the op But we do press the ball most second halves and hey presto we're better,we also play better when we have a proper wide man playing usually second half,i think Steve sees the game and reports his opinions and i agree with more than i disagree with. Last night Sincs was the only player to play well first half and he said so,other games when we need to attack more who does DC replace more often than not.

Last night Sincs was the only player to play well first half and he said so,other games when we need to attack more who does DC replace more often than not. steve wants us to play with a high back line and press opponents right into there half which we dont do,we tend to get 8 men behind the ball and close down when the opposition get in our half, that said going behind 9 games in a row has meant we have had to press more so i partly agree with your point. also dc does play more ball players in the 2nd half of games if we are behind. steve often suggests a midfield without a defensive/tackling type player in the team which goes against the grain for me as even in modern football teams almost always employ a sinclair/mansell/ollie clarke type of player, kante at chelsea, busquets and barcelona etc. i do wish the manager would start with 4-4-2 though in the style of our long winning runs of the last 2 seasons

I think our first half performances are all a ploy by DC to confuse opposition scouts, they then leave at half time bored stiff and report back how rubbish we were and don't see the improvement in the 2nd half and we then catch their team out with our turbo charged 2nd half performances. UTG
