We are getting there.
First half thought we were impressive. It was fairly even half but we weren't threatened much and could have gone in 1-0 up. I thought Leadbetter played very well, few good tackles and one excellent cross. Sadly I don't think Bodin is up there at moment, just seems not to be able to beat his man or even look like it. A few plays just stopped through him.
Second half up to our goal Bradford on top and their first goal had been coming, although we defended well. Then DC swapped it around thought Lines just brought calm to our midfield. Well taken goal. The Beard is an odd one, as ever he played into the ground, but although he breaks the opposition play up, he is not great at distribution so he breaks our play up as well. Roos made some outstanding saves, the last one world class.
All in all quite impressive, the team has guts never stops going. I was listening to Stuart McCall after the game and he commented on the spirit of the side.
In short we are getting there and although under pressure for a lot of second half, look controlled first half and after our goal we looked the more likely to score. Bradford are a good side.
i didn't see the drone, but a Bradford fan after the game suggested it did fly low over the stadium.

We're competing and we've only lost to the top 2. We can pick up at least 3 pts from the next 2 games. Keep working hard gas

Personally I thought Sinclair was excellent again today, first half especially given he had Boatang treading on his toes all afternoon. The big mans immobility was shown up again massively today, the second lines came in to partner Sincs we looked a completely different side. Luke James & Colket obviously also contributing in turning the game.
For me, Bodin & Brown look a shadow of themselves from the last 2 seasons. I've heard plenty of people criticise Roos, Sinclair, Hartley etc..but these two haven't had a truely good game between them all season so far. They really need to start upping their game otherwise the bench will be calling.
Still, a very good away point and we (somehow) could have even snatched the win at the death, after having looked like we were getting what we deserved. Nothing.

I expected Chris Lines to be introduced on the hour mark as you say Boatang could not impose himself on the game. We didn't win 1 header from Roos's kick's I thought Rory might have come on to try and rectify that, with Bradford unbeaten start to the season I thought a drew would have been a good result for us. Living in East Yorkshire I don't see as many games as I would like to and it will be great when we're playing at home in front of 17,500 fans

Lines coming on for me totally changed the match. Just got control of midfield. personally I think Bodin should be dropped for a while, outstanding end of last season, just not made a good start to the season. He seems to lack confidence.

Almost felt like whistling The Great Escape on the way out; I was texting my son saying we were under the cosh as their goal went in. Three seasons ago that would have been a 3 or 4 nil drubbing, but the squad plays to the end, just like our supporters.
Boateng has had 30 mins of good work in his first game, but nothing since. Hero that he is, Browner was not getting close enough to attackers. The day we play Sincs as our midfield playmaker we are lost, he is what he is - a huge nuisance to the other team, I think, but not sure, our goal came from him dispossessing a player on the half way line. Need to see it again, but the save by Roos late in the game was Gordon Banksesque and a game saver.
Later the drone was flying over the pitch during play (although there's not much you can do about it.)
Thought it was an enjoyable enough game, but Bradford are not a good team.
DC should have given the ref the team sheet on the pitch so that he could have booked them all, though some yellows were obvious and stupid. The worst thing was when a Bradford player was injured and he went to check on him lying on the floor and when a throw in came in he jumped up and sprinted away right under the ref's nose - simulation or what?

Two minutes of highlights on Rovers site.
Press the pause button on 15 seconds, just as Matty Taylor is poised, just outside the 6-yard box, to head in the rebound from Billy Bodin's parried shot. You will see Matty leaning forward slightly, but also jumping, so he's at normal height. The boot of the Bradford defender (22, Knight-Percival - wasn't he one of King Arthur's round table?) is at the same height. It's not possible to see whether head or boot makes contact with the ball first, but it's irrelevant. Matty Taylor is 5' 9", and that's how high the Bradford boot was.
I don't think high-kicking was one of the Laws changed in the summer; shouldn't we have had an indirect free-kick and Knight-Percival a red card for a deliberate foul to deny a goalscoring opportunity?
Other criticisms of the referee (Andy Haines) include:
- the drone had been around for some time before he stopped the game. Why stop the game just as Bradford have a wide free-kick, 25 yards from goal? Anyone with any fair football-sense would know that it handed Bradford a major advantage to re-start from such a dangerous position. I would have waited until play was in a neutral area.
- some of the yellow cards he handed out to Rovers were justifiable, but for the sake of consistency he should have disciplined the Bradford players for doing the same things. I was talking to a Bradford fan after the game, and even he couldn't understand why a Bantam player could throw the ball away unpunished, but Byron Moore got a yellow card for the same offence.

Spot on, GM....the desperate kick away is indeed head height. Many a booking given for that..
Matty not to blame.
Also, indeed two brilliant saves either end. Roos is fast becoming a competent replacement for Milds if he can continue this confidence and form..
