So why do we still need a feasibility report from a top firm of accountants? I assume that report could be equally negative as it could be positive. You still have that nagging feeling this could all go Pete Tong.
Until work starts on the UWE I wish BBC had kept their cameras out of Jordan!

Required for the financial backing? Investors would want some independent approval before they hand over the money.

You still have that nagging feeling this could all go Pete Tong. Probably because the old blue Higgsodrome has been scrapped and an entirely new design has been put forward.

A new design would require planning permission. If there is a new design it should not be a problem if for the same size as the planning already granted but if for a larger capacity (say the 26k that was talked about as phase 2), then it may lead to delays and give the anti stadium people a second bite at trying to stop it.

More to with interior design and fit out

For the vast majority of my time watching Rovers, we have been threatening to move into a new purpose built stadium, and for that reason I am firmly in the 'Believe in when I'm sat watching a game in it' camp.
I feel the most important move we ever made was the one back to Bristol in 1996, and even if we do get the new ground, it will never mean as much to me as the day we moved back into our own city.

Hortham Lane is within Almondsbury. Quoted as 27 acres which I guess if you include the existing sports/football ground with 4/5 pitches and an adjoining field - Hortham Pig Farm on Google Map is about right. I keep my caravan across the road at Hortham Farm!

Agree with you there, moving back to Bristol was vital, however the inability to do anything meaningful at The Mem and its current 1980s standard means we just cannot move forwards just remain L1/2 until we do something radical. I too have been waiting so long - really really hope this is the one!!

More to with interior design and fit out I thought the planning permission covered the potential capacity too. Isn't it 20,700 expandable to 30,000 something?
