Chris has been more than excellent since he rejoined us on that day at Halifax - 2 promotions later - back where we started - moving forward nicely and still people have to bring up that season. Personally I blame Trollope for not bringing in a CF & the Board for some shocking decisions. I don't blame Chris Lines.

there were a lot of us with the same opinion , we cant all be wrong can we ? I've never quite understood 'We can't all be wrong' , when obviously lots of people are wrong about various things all the time. right/wrong its all just an opinion when it comes to football, you have your view on cl , i have mine, no big deal . im more than happy atm with him, i wasnt previously

Chris Lines didn't 'toss off a season for us' , he was part of a team tha was struggling, and then was subjected to some vile abuse by people who laughably called themselves Rovers fans. I am amazed he came back after that, and wonder what he thinks when he hears 'He's one of our own' belting out. there were a lot of us with the same opinion , we cant all be wrong can we ? Yes

I don't know why this has come up again. For the record I was one of the people who felt he let us down but not just him. I now think we really need to put this behind us and think of what is happening now, live in the moment, if you will. I've come to terms with some of the abusive stuff I said and wrote and I've apologised to most but I'm still blocked by Linesy so I guess an apology isn't going to be heard. Some people have accepted my apologies and we get along fine but others haven't and that's ok too. Let get behind the team and get another 3 points tonight.

im sure youve told us you were a talent scout once [ or 50 times] What has that got to do with anything apart from trying to divert attention from your statement

Excellent start to the season by Chris.
However, I thought Ollie Clarke nudged ahead against Oxford and deserved MoTM in that game. Not so against Bolton though. Billy Bodin looked great on the ball when he came on against Bolton, when he had appeared to be struggling in the previous game. That's a good sign that he didn't let one performance affect his confidence - just got back out there and attacked the defenders.

IMO Linsey looks a class act at this level, comfortable on the ball, picks a pass, gets forward and scores the odd goal, tremendous.
