I think we will. How often do we get a chance to see Rovers at places like Stamford Bridge? Especially given our generally poor cup record.

Chelsea away in the league cup? Are we being serious here?!
Tickets won't reach Priority 2. You heard it here first.

Agreed. 5300 season ticket holders, 200 or so Share Scheme, how many do Helpline and are in other Priority Groups? If there are tickets left over, it will be a small amount. Chelsea will have to increase our allocation. Think we will take 6000.

Chelsea will have to increase our allocation. Think we will take 6000. Why will they have to increase it? If the initial allocation is 4000 and there is more demand than the allocation, then they will have to give us more? It's not as though the Chelsea fans will be falling over themselves to see Rovers. The alternative is Rovers supporters going in the home end if they don't give us more.

Breaking news Chelsea website has designated our game as a premier league fixture...so guess tickets are now £75 each.
That should reduce our demand some what

The faster BRFC invests in decent internet enabled ticketing the better. It takes until Sat to exhaust all the priority groups & then closed Sun!! Means I would need to travel to Bristol Saturday to get my ticket. If they all sell out - great - those most deserving get them. Chelsea went through all their priority groups by 3pm this afternoon & now have put on general sale.

As for new players - I think the rewards of looking after and developing what you have is far more productive than lashing out on a premiership has-been looking for a final pay day.
