Hi folks,
I've not been following Rovers for that long so I've never had the pleasure of being part of a ticket scramble.
I'm an ST holder, is my best bet to go to the Mem on release day or is this gonna be a queue up at the release time dealie? Or is it best to phone?
Wager I'm not the only donut wondering this, so any help appreciated.
Cheers!

Cheers! I'm lucky as one rep from our crowd tends to get to Mem early on first day. It's worked so far. I'm not 100% sure this will sell out to priorities. We probably will sell out, but I hope everyone whom wants to go gets an opportunity to buy a ticket.

I'll probably be there on the doors though, desperate to get to this for groundhopping purposes more than anything.

Make your arrangements early, Jim is demanding an open top bus tour, starting 37 yards from the south end goal, wobbling around a bit, and ending in the side of the goalnet. Between that, the rush for Chelski tickets, and the odd football match, things could be quite busy over the next couple of weeks.

4000 allocation
5,500 season ticket holders.
I'll bet my mortgage the initial allocation doesn't go past priority 1

Or a marvellous marketing ploy ....if it reaches general sale you have to buy a Reading home ticket at £5 to get a Chelsea one

Cheers! I realise that it is difficult for those living some distance from The Mem or in full time employment, but I would not recommend phoning as we only have limited staff in a confined area and if they are dealing with Gasheads collecting tickets it is going to be difficult to release staff to answer the phone.
Chelsea general sale for these tickets start at 3pm on Tuesday 16th August.

I have been offered hospitality packages for £65 including a free bar- that's a bargain.

It isn't direct from them, their cheapest package is £195, it's from a company we use at work for corporate events. TBH, I don't want to do it, this is the sort of game you want to be in with the away support- maybe an option if tickets do sell out though.

The actual anniversary, as you know, is 31st August, when we played Stockport County.
We have invited members the side who represented the club that day and to date the following former players have accepted our invitation to join us in the Dribuild Hospitality Suite; Paul Miller, Andy Tillson, Billy Clarke, and Matt Lockwood.
We are hoping that at least four more members of the side will confirm their attendance over the weekend and we also hope that many of our supporters will join them in the Dribuild Suite, where we are offering, amongst other things, a Three Course carvery Meal and a ticket for the Bolton match for a seat in the Dribuild Stand. Which would you choose? Mind you there is the insecure meal deal where you could get robbed, attacked... that must be cheaper.

I think the people who were at the mem on Thursday should get priority IMHO Some of them paid just £5 on Tuesday, s/t holders etc £100's to the club this season, why should they have priority?
