I haven't heard, sorry. But, like you, I'm looking forward to the first League game of the season. So I thought I'd find out a little bit about our opponents. Scunny finished in SEVENTH place last season, on 74 points, which was the same total as sixth placed Barnsley, the club that went up via the play-offs. Their form improved at the back end of the season, as indicated in this chart (from Statto.com). Mark Robins was manager until January 2016. Graham Alexander took over from caretaker Andy Dawson (still at Scunny as coach) in March 2016. Since that date, they've won 7 (including a 6-0 over Swindon), drawn 1 and lost 1.

If I am well enough then I am going. I will be getting a ticket anyway. I know it seems much shorter between seasons now but I have missed that Saturday feeling

Damn - very bad planning on my part - on holiday in Cornwall on the 6th. I remember playing them first game of the season ages ago (had to look it up - Aug 9th 2003). Blistering hot day in Essex, air-con on the car had broken. Took two of my kids with me... a very long drive up north - to find it - about 5c hotter than home. We won 2-1 (despite fielding Rob Quin).

Interesting graph: I'm guessing ours looks a bit similar (albeit a division lower and generally about 4 places higher). Two creepy-uppy teams: that augurs oddly for game 1.

Here's Rovers' graph (again, from Statto.com).

Very quiet re Scunny - how many tickets sold. First game back in L1 - hope we get a good following. I assume pay on the day will be ok as we have been given 1500+ tickets.

Wasn't Lee B signed in close season 2011 just after relegation?

Definitely Ollie Clarke, he came on late for his debut I think.
Eliot Richards scored his first goal. We lost 2-1. I met Steve Lamacq in the pub afterwards.

Browner's debut was AFC Wimbledon live on Sky, in August for the season opener that same year.
Hope he finishes his career here.
