In advance of Rovers trip to Catalunya (Get that right, don't say it's Spain!) here's all you need to know about Centre d’Esports Sabadell Futbol Club. www.estadiosdeespana.com/posts/sabadell-estadi-de-la-nova-creu-alta/Plenty on the club history and the stadium, which looks quite dapper, despite being nearly 50 years old. By the way, you pronounce it "SABA-DAY". Just saying... I had not planned on going but I had my best friend offer to pay for me last night and I really did not expect that. Do you habe anything to do with organising this trio please ? I would guess that I now would need to get a separate flight and organise my own hotel arrangements. I am not sure if I could sort it in time but my friend was really insistent that I go and sometimes I have realised that other people like to help, as I habe helped others. I will look into this and see if I can sort something.

Would have loved the opportunity to be at this one..love Rovers, love Spain Catalunya and it's summer there!

Really looking forward to this trip. There's mention of tour merchandise, now that Bazzer's Unique Marketing (BUM) has gone will there be some?

Been told by a bloke in a pub(so it must be true!) that John Kaye's has 7 coaches booked from Santa Susanna so that is 300 to 350 plus loads will be making their own way, as we are so its bound to be 500+

Stuart Harding and John Kayes were organising. PM me for their e-mail if you need them. I'm still 50/50 on going. Still gutted about the flip of the coin vs Wham in the early 90's. So a chance to right that wrong. Come on you cabezas de gas.

For those staying in Barca train line R4 goes through Sabadell and takes around 30 minutes. There are 3 stations in Sabadell. My crowd will be getting off at Centro and having a look round prior to the match.

It's a long drive from Isla Plana!

About an 8 hour drive or the same on the train, closer than a home match though!

Assuming you are travelling from Barcalona what time train do you plan on catching, although compared to the sights of Barca is there anything worthwhile seeing in Sabadell, also does anybody know which of the 3 stations is closest to the ground and how far it is walk from the station or town?

Probably leave Barca Sants around 2 and head for Sabadell Centro.

The ground is on the edge of a lovely park. On the opposite side of the park to the ground is a nice shady bar by the duck pond. Next to the ground is the supporters club bar. We were made really welcome there last year and couldn't buy a drink. Everyone wanted photos with us. Great crack.

Have fun ALL of you. Once again my own unique "stuff" has stopped me from going and I was offered to have it as a treat from a very good friend. Unfortunately if you have certain pre existing conditions then you have to say so and be insured. This made it totally unreasonable. I guess it's all for the best as being in direct sun is a no no. I hope you all have a great time with our Blue and White Hermanos and Hermanas.
