Played a great part in our fall and rise and obviously feels his time has come to an end with us.
I'm kinda disappointed.
I also think he hasn't fully fulfilled his potential.
Thanks for the good times, Parksy. Meeting your bro at Accy was truly a hilarious moment in time!

good chance of a 3rd consecutive promotion for him. Presuming the power obsessed owner lets the manager do his job.

They have zero chance of promotion. They are the "dirty Leeds" of the old division 4. Their supporters are totally disillusioned and know they have no chance of even being credible until their Italian nutter of an owner leaves. I don't think Mr Nolan left on very good terms.

Tom Parkes has been a good servant to the club and has back-to-back promotions with us on his cv, plus of course he stayed with us in our darkest hour. So good luck to him for the future, and it's now time for us all to move on . . . but in different directions, unfortunately. Well said John, When I was more able to go to training sessions Parkes seemed a stand out player so I am a little disappointed if honest. I don't think he will be that last out of the door either but that's another story & I promised myself not to go down that route anymore. Live a feeling he will prosper and I wish him the best of luck but not if we have to play against any team he is in

The first one to go from our twice promotion squad. That means only really Andy Monkhouse and Tom from last two years have gone who played major parts. Shows what a together squad we had and still have. Quite a difference from Grimsby who let 11 of their promotion squad go.

Big Tom is a great defender when playing at his best.Very brave, winning all in the air, strong in tackle and can pass a ball.If he could gain just a wee bit more consistency,he'll find himself in the 3rd tier, maybe 2nd. Good luck Tom,you were an integral part of our two promotions.

Clarke clearly wants to upgrade at Centre Back - I guess that with Lockyer being the future that made Parkes vulnerable.

Thank you Tom for all your efforts. Orient must be splashing the cash to make it attractive for Tom to remain in League 2.

Clarke clearly wants to upgrade at Centre Back - I guess that with Lockyer being the future that made Parkes vulnerable. I think it's because he simply could not head the ball from corners or set pieces. Otherwise you would keep him for almost every other aspect of his game. We need more threat from corners.

I think we`re better off with McChrstal, Lockyer, Clarke, and Hartley. Sorry to see Tom go in some ways, but probably best for him and BRFC,

We need more threat from corners. its all about opinions but i dont agree with that,i think dc wanted a better centre-back than parkes, mcchrystal or clarke and went for hartley to perform his primary role which is defending. set piece goals are a great bonus of course
