Good luck to him, he's been a good servant to Bristol Rovers. I'm glad he's gone to a decent club and wish him well.

Reported to be a two year deal.Good luck Tom. Probably a good move for both parties. Not convinced he would have been in Darrell's plans for next season. Good luck to him.

Good luck to him.
A shame as i think he could one day be a championship quality defender, but I think thats a couple of years away. For this season i think we need a 'marquee signing' defender to partner Lockyer, and we already have a fine defender in McChrystal as backup, with James Clarke not too far behind.

Tom Parkes has been a good servant to the club and has back-to-back promotions with us on his cv, plus of course he stayed with us in our darkest hour. So good luck to him for the future, and it's now time for us all to move on . . . but in different directions, unfortunately.

Thank you Tom Parkes. Stuck with us in our darkest hour and played a huge part in 2 promotions and not many can say that. Wish you every success and if you ever come back and play at the Mem I for one will give you a huge cheer. Good luck for the future.

It will be interesting to see how much Alfie Kilgour features pre-season.

Tom Parkes was a really solid player for us and I hope he does really well at Orient. He was no nonsense and did what was required of him. If they have a good heading coach he might add a few goals to his game as well!

Good luck to Tom. I was chatting to an O's fan in the pub last night. Told him Parkes would be a good signing for them (but best not to watch highlights of Gas 1 Newport 4).
