It is well documented that Darrell welcomed Will Dubey's appointment. Performance analysis is part and parcel of modern football and is something we were not able to afford under the old regime.

Someone on a different thread put up the stats since he came and they were very very good. I think DC will see it as a move in the right direction, would imagine that Will D works under DC and not above him. So DC will have someone giving him info that he doesn't have time to do himself....what's not to like? I take it as a sign that the club is becoming more professional, a better sharing of responsibilities etc. 2 years ago it was DC, Marcus, Phil Kite and that was about it. Now I would imagine DC can't believe how we've grown. And he is definately Top Dog! He will happily see it as a sign of intent I hope. UTG!

I think Cellino and Steve E must be some partnership, but thankfully not ours! UTG!

Someone mentioned talking to Will at the D&R game and how knowledgeable he was about each and every one of their players. Imagine him as a sort of Top Trumps library of strengths and weaknesses of league one sides that DC can tap into when the next "project" is due to play us....think it enhances that approach rather than weakening it. My view is that they'll work well in tandem next season but the proof will be in the pudding ...as it always is.
