You must have to write quick this week (DC signed within hours of publication). Al Qadi & Hamer's business is going perfectly so far. 1. Absolve BRFC of Wongadministraion. Tick. 2. Exctracate the club from embarrasing and expensive litigation. Tick. 3. Leave DC alone to try to get another promotion. Tick. 4. Offer DC all he's worth and convince him to sign. Tick. 5. Sign the existing and new players DC needs for the 3rd Division. 6. Youth development, training ground, stadium, etc. But, but, but they don't have as much money as some have said they have, they only own one an investment bank various hotels and run HSBC in Jordan, it's all a cover up they are skint, and why isn't the stadium being built yet? There is little more as irritating at some so called Rovers fans who have sat back and allowed the previous chairman to run the club into the ground without challenge, and then nit pick at every opportunity to discredit the best thing that has happened to the club in its history. A hangover from years of false promises, lies, deceit and half truths.

Yes but years of false promises, lies, deceit and half truths from people no longer involved, feels a bit like comparing an expensive bottle of champagne to 4 cans of carling black dishwater. It will be interesting to see when the next seeds of doubt are sewn by some people on this and the other forum who are clearly not trusting of the new BoD, im going to take a punt at 30 days maximum if diggers have not moved into the UWE as the next side swipe at the new BoD. This is where the self congratulatory back slapping of we are the best fans on the planet becomes plain to see is a total myth.

I have to say that I was bitterly disappointed with the Jim Chappell stuff as it really did look like a bitter man having a final dig at the owners that have very literally saved the club. I was only saying to Sophie that when we were last in L1, not doing well, we had just as many wanting the mangers head and lots of nasty remarks. I have to add though that maybe a few, given the perspective of how many turn up on match days, are making noise. I still think we are amongst the best fans in the country as you only have to look at how many still turned up when we were in the conference and staring administration in the face, with the ongoing wonga type loan and Sainsbury fiasco. We are still a minority in using forums, most don't use them. Being totally honest, I think it was a huge mistake in making all the previous board VP's. I think that Higgs and co will always be looking to get some daft and misdirected people to make noise. There has to be some discussion about this and I think it's time that maybe the old board were given some form of non disclosure terms or the like. We need to stick together now and not allow that old and decrepit lot to get us arguing amongst ourselves. Unfortunately there are still a fair few Higgs apologists, maybe apologists isn't the right word as they are not apologetic but are bitter, that they no longer have their Masonic type lodge, in box 1. To Jim and the old board, please leave it out. We have at last got a great owner and a chairman who wants to push the club forward and they are only now uncovering the absurd and awful way the club was run. Years of damage will not be undone quickly but they are doing very well as it goes.

Great read KP, and I think mirrors how many of us feel and see the situation moving forward, I had the same conversation a couple of nights ago regarding VP's, WAQ is no fool and will manage that situation well should it need addressing IMO, he must have around 95% of the support of us now and he is ticking boxes left right and centre at the moment, I can only sense consistent improvement, so far so good, and the longer that continues the smaller the voice of his critics. Must dash, off to put a bid in for santas grotto.

People who take digs at the new board need to take a long hard look at themselves and seriously think how things could really be better for us right now. I am so impressed with our new set up from WAQ down, all see genuine good people who want to do things the right way with well planned calculated actions. Finally have some belief that the club can achieve something under the new owners and management in place. The ground will come when WAQ and Mr Cunnah have done all their homework, sounds quite professional to me rather than chancing against huge supermarket chain for funding. Think all would be silly to not be excited about our prospects now.

It is a n eyesore we are probably going to have play in for 2 more seasons and any improvement that the board want to make should be appreciated.

WHAT IS JORDAN INTERNATIONAL BANK? Jordan International Bank (JIB) was established back in the mid-1980s and is owned by two Jordanian banks: the Housing Bank for Trade & Finance and the Arab Jordan Investment Bank. It is based in Knightsbridge in west London. Up until a couple of years ago it operated as a “prestigious private bank”. But it’s now moving into retail banking, meaning it’s opening its doors to the like of you and me.
