Muff will bring more fans to the Mem than Accy or Wombles to-gether so hope they win.Sadly my lad went to UNI in Plymouth and is a keen fan but does come to some Gas games with me.

But they will be more competition than Accy or Wombles next season imo.
The away end can be empty for all I care, as long as we win! :-)

He sounds bitter and actually quite inexperienced He is worried and rightly so; first they fail to score at home this season which cost them automatic promotion, then they get beat for the first time in ages in the first leg.
The wheels seem to be coming off a bit, best thing to do is say nothing to the press and get on with the task ahead.

Didnt realise until the last game that Mike Newell is first team coach at Accy, obviously is a bit of money about!!!

What a shame their fantastic season is now being undone by his ridiculous rambling. Surely these are things to be said after the 2nd leg, not during preparation for it?!
Laying out the excuses early I guess. Just when the media were falling over themselves with the 'Accy getting to league 1' story, before the final games of the season!'
Love it.

It was almost a Kevin Keegan style rant, just missing... "And I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them. Love it"

2:1 now - 2:2 on aggregate. Do away goals matter? EDIT: No (why should they); they've started extra time. EDIT 2: 2:2, 2:3 on agg, Wimbledon to Wembley?

floodlight failure at Accy!! Wycombe anyone? 6 minutes to go... Accy 2 -3 Wimbledon !!! Sky TV are reporting that the referee is going to take the players off to allow the floodlights to cool down.
Apparently some smoke is coming from the set that has turned itself off - maybe they're not used to being on this long?

Dons it is then.. 2 - 3 on agg... nice incentive for them to win at wobbly ... the prospect of a double header with their plastic counterparts. MK D's... expect a decentish crowd of 30,000 region i would imagine against the Argyle

Got to feel for Accy, over 46 games they finished a full 10 points clear of AFC, and it counts for nothing.

Got to feel for Accy, over 46 games they finished a full 10 points clear of AFC, and it counts for nothing. Those are the rules. Happens every year. The only thing I feel for Accrington is grateful I'm not going there next season.
