Mmm, indeed. I think a certain NH got him signed into a confidentiality clause on his departure. Odd wasn't it, somehow a man who had been in the game his entire life couldn't find anybody to bring in during the final window. And was then slated in public for it and 'moved upstairs', whatever that means? At the time I took it all at face value, but with what we now know about watertight contracts, and 'not knowing of any reason that Sainsbury's shouldn't complete' it makes you question everything you heard and half of what you saw. I'm still waiting for Geoff's book to lift the lid on this and many other issues during his tenure. Perhaps by next xmas?

The way he would put out little hints and always when the timing was right, to undermine NH. The irony of Geoff bringing NH onboard and as an ally, it's just too good
