Whats the bet that either York's Derek Riordan or Dagenham's Jamie Cureton will be the reason we miss out on a top 3 position. I so hope I am wrong but I got a bad feeling. Nerves are getting to me already

I didn't realise Riordan was at York. He had the potential to be a seriously good player when he was at Hibs, but went rapidly downhill after that. Let's hope the slide continues until at least this weekend.

He was an unused sub vs Accrington last Saturday.

Riordan has only scored consistently for Hibs over 2 spells, talk about a one team player.
Cureton seems to have gone off the boil of late.
Cue both feckers scoring against us!

Even if the worst does happen, it means play offs.
How many teams would swap with us for that scenario?
Grimsbury, for one..

Riordan has played less than an hour of football since he's been there (not counting injury time), and only made it to half time in the one game he started. Cureton has got a couple of goals in recent weeks but seems to have not featured since the relegation was confirmed. Might be coincidence, or he might be injured, or it might be the manager is having a look at players with a future to consider. If its the last one, it'd be cruel to deny him a run out at the Mem in what will surely be his last ever League game.

More chance of Riordan performing in the bar than the box! Alongside, Garry Kenneth, one if our worst foreign signings ever!!! PS Ellis Harrison had it right when he tweeted "Dead Scottish"!!!

It wasn't Harrison who tweeted that, it was the lad who ended up in City's reserves I think, but for the life of me I can't remember his name.

Saw Jamie Cureton score a Hat -Trick up here for Gas at Stoke in the old Div 2 at the Britannia.Jason Roberts greatly impressed the local press that game, the Evening Sentinel referring to him as .'A Colossal prospect'. Hollers gave away a pen but we stuffed Stoke 4-1.Following season we won again 2-1 with Mark Walters scoring the winner. How times have changed!! Remember a defender having a superb game in the second match called Andy Thompson who went to Pompey.Incidently,Britannia changing its name for next season so some money to be made if we auction our new stadium's naming rights.

Andy Thompson, he tried to crack into my (now ex) girlfriend in the Works nightclub while I was stood with her. Suffice to say she told him to do one.

I don't recall that he did, although knowing my ex that would have changed the conversation completely!

I was with her, although she always had a crush on Steve Foster.

Didnt Andy Thomson come from Pompey rather than to go there. He was one of the three emigos of Thomson, Hillier (I won a championship with Arsenal you know) and Pethick. Very good in the nearly season bar the end and wasn't Thomson an 'overlapping' centre back or something he used to surge forward at times. I was at Oldham that season when he scored the fourth in 4 nil demolition. We were 3 nil up in 10mins on the Latvians debut and he destroyed them until they hacked him down. Is that 16 years ago. Good god.

Yep Your'e right..Knew there was a Pompey connection. He left us very suddenly wherever he went.Yes 16 years ago.Always remember the second game.Ref was friend of mine from nearby Lichfield called Mike Brandwood .Normally refs come from a neutral area.Ian Holloway told the press, our pitch (Twerton?) was like a farmer's field in comparison to the one at the Brit.

Good god. Thomson came on his own. The 3 amigos were the 2 mentioned plus a blond lad ( can't remember his name ) but had played for either Plymouth or Exeter . Looked like a male model and was always injured.
