Brilliant atmosphere. Well done Rovers for initiating such a well organised event and making this opportunity available..

Another good attendance, another good payday COME ON YOU BLUES Demand for Newport tickets far outstripped supply, we could have sold out 3 times over. I wouldn't do it unless the games are a sellout as it may attract people who might otherwise have travelled and we need all the support we can get.

Was fantastic day, can only applaud the club for it. Great idea when tickets are sold out. Bars were full and lots of people were in shop before the game.

Sounds like it was a really successful event but honestly there's nothing like being at the event itself, I would never swap that opportunity. Really pleased it was beamed back for the large number of supporters who couldn't get tickets or were unable to afford to get to Newport. What was a shame was the number of empty seats at the stadium, surely if Newport had got themselves organised they could have made another £30/40,000 by giving over one side of the stadium to us but I supppose home supporters may object to losing their preferred seats.

It's a good point, but we also used a beam-back for the Cambridge game and that was nowhere near a sell out. As it was we took 562 to an evening game, over the other side of the country, which was a fantastic turnout. Without getting ahead of ourselves, I'd like to think there will be more beam-backs before the end of the season, and maybe (if we're still in the mix) one to mirror Hartlepool 2007.

Would be great if the club could do it for the Northampton game now that we have sold out our allocation. I know people are saying they can't do 3 o'clock beam backs but I am sure the Hartlepool game a few years ago kicked off at 3 & was showed live at the Mem.

Games cant be broadcast as such over here at 3 o clock, however it is not illegal to stream on the uk, which is essentially what the beam back is
