"Let's not forget that NH referred to the forum as 50 internet warriors" (KP) Elsewhere, in a spirit of moving forward..... I am moving forward but I won't be part of the beatification of Nick Higgs. He's a gashead don't ya know ?

How could we forget ... "I was running a company called Snack Box at the time..." I would have thought that an appropriate title for such a tome would be along the lines of that old Spike Milligan bio:- "Bristol Rovers, My Part In it's Downfall."

So are we getting Boycies book before GoDs I don't know if Geoff has ever had a book but he certainly has used the possibility of his expose to worry others. My guess is that there never has been a book and that Geoff, in his own daft way, has become a parody in the style of the guy known as Keith Chimp. If there ever was a book then one would hope that there would be no need to publish it now that he managed to use his shareholding to oust Nick Higgs from continuing as a director. It would seem that Geoff used his power to make sure that ALL of the past incumbents stood down. As I see it, he missed one trick and that was not getting the VP title. It would seem that both Nick and Geoff are as bad & as spiteful as each other.

What leads you to that conclusion Kp and how would Geoff oust Nick as the majority shareholder from continuing as a Director ?

As I understand it and from 3 independent people, the Al Qadi family were to be unveiled as investors with Nick still as a director. It was on Geoffs insistence that nothing would go ahead and he wouldn't sell his shareholding unless ALL of the previous incumbents stood down. The deal rested upon this and Nick had little choice. He either sold outright or let this opportunity go. I am very sure that this is the truth. Maybe others could help here but I am positive this is the case. Geoff would not sell unless Nick let go. Karma or spite ? The answer is in how you view it.

If it were the latter then that answers why GD hasn't been offered a life vice presidency......it would be interesting to know the Al Qadi's view on it

The Post really going to town on Boycie, is he paying for this extended promotional feature. An interesting peice of spin anyway. More blah, blah, blah; only skimmed it this time as it really is a master piece of spin: www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristol-Rovers-NEWS-Al-Qadi-s-won-t-make-promises/story-28927768-detail/story.html?Only two things of vague interest. the first we knew: "A lot of time was spent on trying to get the UWE project moving and I suppose you could question that we may have taken our eye off the ball," Bradshaw reasoned.
and the second I can see what he is saying, but...: "Nick has put in more money than any director in the history of the club and it seems a shame that he has to take so much criticism because he is a thoroughly decent guy."

If Geoff is the reason that Higgs had to sell up, then a Vice Presidency is the absolute minimum we should offer him as our eternal thanks.
