Sheffield Utd, Coventry, MK Dons, Charlton, Bolton.
The rest of the grounds are mostly the same little pokey places where you get 1,000 tickets at best for the away end.

No that's what they have the potential to hold. They won't give you that.
I went home and away to most games in L1 and the grounds are crapholes bar a few. Millwall for example - that 4K would be top and bottom tier. They haven't opened the bottom tier for God knows how long.

I went to a lot of them -
Gillingham - open air plastic seated stand where you get soaked through.
Peterborough - rickety old wooden stand with a tin roof where you're shunted off to the left hand side of the pitch.
Bradford - the rebuilt stand is impressive. The away end is a dive in a dear little two tier stand with the roof almost touching your head.
Millwall - Atmosphere is odd because they have such a fan problem that you're kept to the top tier only - though I recall this from the Championship encounters. They weren't in our league.
Barnsley - plenty of room in the stand but the place is such a craphole you are left drinking in a leisure centre behind the ground.
One of the biggest fears I had of going down was having to go back to these hellholes.
Remember there is also Fleetwood, Walsall, Swindon, Rochdale, Shrewsbury Town and other such tinpot clubs.

I see the 'Big Club' mentality is alive and well in BS3. Take away Lansdown's handouts and guess what, you are exactly the same as the clubs you think you are so much better than. In fact, had he not written off £35 million after a fat bloke who makes Adebayo Akifenwa look like Usain Bolt scored the only goal at Wembley, it's hard to see how you would have avoided going into administration, again.

Swindon is a crap day out. Home fans goading our fans, stewards doing fk all about it and the Swindon players (all friggen loanees) doing a lap of honour after a 1-0 win. Twats.

Kaiser is right though, most of the clubs in league one are tinpot. With the exception of sheff utd, coventry, bradford, Charlton and Bolton we will average more than all of them especially if we are top 8. The make up of league one is almost identical to league two in terms of size of clubs.

Of coarse an away day at Burton Albion is a massive championship date for the diary.

Can someone define 'Tinpot' for me?
I look at Port Vale, Posh, Oldham, Rochdale, Gillingham, Walsall, Chesterfield, Millwall, Bradford, Barnsley, Coventry etc and they look like normal, well established League clubs to me, no better or worse than Rovers or City?
I certainly hope that if Wael presses on and takes us up the football pyramid we don't start to sound like Kaiser, talking down our noses at clubs that we've spent the vast majority of our history rubbing shoulders with.

They are out of place with the vast majority of clubs in our league. Maybe Rotherham with them. Other than that the division is Championship standard grounds and set ups. Several of them being Prem standard set ups too. My point was its the opposite down in L1. A decent ground and club is the exception (Sheff U, Coventry) whereas the norm is more Rochdale, Shrewsbury. Burton will be a novelty I can put up with once a season.

Totally agree with you about the clubs mentioned being no better or worse than Rovers,if those clubs are tinpot so are Rovers.
The problem with your last sentence is that there are already some on here and the other forum who are sounding like Kaiser, let city beef themselves up they always have done but Rovers were always much less deluded, sad to see it changing.

I would be careful how you perceive other clubs as a Newcastle supporting colleague of my son said, who would have thought we would be going to places like Rotherham,Burton & Bristol City next season.

No doubt Newcastle would see it that way and they have every right to.
We are slap bang in the middle of the Championship clubs on size and attendances. 15,290 average and a lowest crowd of 14,292 in a restricted capacity stadium this season.
Like I said no surprise to see Rotherham way lower than that. As nice a ground as the New York is I'd add tho.
