made it’s brief appearance in the National League. Dear oh dear. I'd like to think if I was ever suddenly elevated to Chairman level, I'd ensure that I'd mastered basic grammar; and if that proved too difficult, I'd at least get my reports checked by a proofreader. Maybe Kirsty has returned to the fold to type these reports?

Maybe Kirsty has returned to the fold to type these reports? Bear with me. I see just one apostrophe that shouldn't be there. English is my second language btw so if there is more then please educate this dumb Polak. One has also to remember that many of these reports are first written on mobile devices and autocorrect is very much to blame, for much that goes wrong. The Mrs is a fully paid up grammar nazi and she gets wound up by spelling and grammar mistakes. I'd ask her but she's still in bed lol

There is a lot of persistent criticism of the Bristol Rovers Board on this thread.

There is a lot of persistent criticism of the Bristol Rovers Board on this thread. Did you have good night with Kevin ? I just texted him and it's great that he is able to accept my apology. I am just delighted that he feels the fire still burns and it must be fantastic to have him back, amongst his close friends. Fair play to you, John Volodymr, Rick and crew. I doff my cap to you all

There is a lot of persistent criticism of the Bristol Rovers Board on this thread. It needs to be much more consistent. Looking forward to when Mr Hamer can be more revealing about behind the scenes activity and I think some of it might be very interesting.

There is a lot of persistent criticism of the Bristol Rovers Board on this thread. Is it true that Higgs wanted to ban everyone but they didn't have addresses to send the banning orders to?

Come on Ann, play fair Oh well seeing as you ask so nicely, strictly speaking the line "it’s now Dwane Sports turn to run with the baton!" is missing an apostrophe (should be Sports'). So that's just two minor errors across the hundreds of words that have been written in the last 13 days. I don't see too much to complain about

I don't see too much to complain about Thank you Ann, I've always had difficulty with the apostrophe after a word. It's the one thing that I do allow spellcheck and autocorrect to put right for me. I never had it explained or taught and, once again, it's one of those things that I would have to be shown by example rather than from a text book. When i started infants school, I couldn't speak a word of English. We spoke Polish in the house. I had trouble with reading and writing but a child doesn't see things the way an adult does. I saw it as a challenge rather than a problem. By the time I was 7 I had a reading age well above that of my classmates & I will always be grateful to the teacher who took it upon himself to teach and cajole me

Just about everyone struggles with apostrophes - there was talk of doing away with them not so long ago. Personally I wouldn't like that, but I think I'm probably in a minority on that one

Personally I wouldn't like that, but I think I'm probably in a minority on that one I quite like the odd apostrophe or two but like KP I'm not always 100% where they should go but being as I was never fluent in Polish I have less excuse to present for my fallibility. These days so I'm told I 'sounds like I'm from Carediff' but still pronounce everything with a 'burr'. I even went to Welsh classes when I was a little younger but the tutor eventually gave up with me because as she said to me "no one speaks Welsh with a Bristol accent" and I replied " but that's the way I beh meh luvvur" and it all went down hill from there really

I think this is a good statement, butters us up, coupl'a jokes, end with an inspirational quote - textbook. Thicker gruel than what Higgs used to give us:
The first I've heard of Dwane Sports.... But we're already well through the looking glass with this whole episode, so whatever corporate vehicle owns it feels a bit irrelevant.
I'm sure it shouldn't, but ..... it does.

Start with a few simple commas!
