and you will find more people wear clogs in Accrington than Burnley same pies in both places though.

Wish I was going. F*ck legs. If you could get someone to push you in a wheelchair they'd get in for free

New ground for me so I'm going along with 4 others on the 7.30 train (ffs) we will be joined two more at bamber bridge.
we took 386 to Morecambe so i expect we should top the 400 mark at least.

They have every incentive to get it on. Right now their congested fixture list is probably their main threat to their playoff hopes. If you have a small squad like Accy having to play 2 games a week more often than not for the rest of the way could be fatal come March/April.
Have to say it is one of the most exposed grounds you can find though so if that is the weather forecast they will have to go some.

You have to wonder if Accrington have looked at the weather forecast for the weekend, let alone for today.

How is the North West in regard to this US storm we are currently enduring?! It's been torrential in South Glos all day. A few days of this up North and they won't have a hope in hell of it being on.

I think it's important to get this game on. We're on form and it would be good to get this out the way while we are playing well against top teams.
Plus, we can take some support and make some noise.....as opposed to a cold week night.

I saw on twitter this morning that a fan was claiming that they have borrowed the water removal machine used at Lord's for the cricket. the stanley fans seem reasonably confident it'll be on: "Heavy rain forecast again but Andy Holt confident game Saturday will be on a machine capable of removing 20,000 litres of water a hour arriving tomorrow." "Friday night's forecast looks worrying, but hopefully there'll be enough time to deal with it." www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f93/raining-again-67939.html

So no chance of them making an early decision then. Bugger.

Andy Holt (co-owner of the Stanley) seems pretty chipper about our chances!
