After watching Oxford last night I got to say I was impressed, if we are to get anything from them we will have to be at the top of our game. Press them high and man mark Lundstrom with Sincs and then hope they have run out of steam after the last 2 games. Not being pessimistic here I can see them being Champions this year.

I went to the game as i was working a couple of miles away, and it was a tenner to get in. Oxford looked really wobbly at the back and scored two fortunate goals. Millwall could have scored six or more with better finishing. Admittedly, they were sharper and faster getting the ball back than Millwall were, and they were better with the ball, but their confidence grew after they scored first. And Millwall gave them so much room in which to play. Roofe will be tricky to deal with as he plays everywhere, like Gaffney does, and is a really decent player. He plays at the front, drops into the 10 role and goes left and right to make things happen. You're right about Lundstrom though, he drifted into the space outside the box all night and has a lovely touch. The chip to put Roofe in was class. The right back is fast too, so we'll have to prevent him coming forward and overlapping. But I think our back four / five are miles better than theirs, and if we can keep the ball and stretch them, we'll be okay. We'll create chances all afternoon, we just need to take a couple. And like you say, they've had a lot of games recently. It will catch up with them at some point.

Kick Roofe until he stops moving. If he moves, kick him again. It always worked in the Bristol & Distrct League.

We didnt do too bad in the home game against Oxford. I think we have improved since then too. Yes we lost that game but that was due to a great goal by Roofe and remember we had a man sent off incorrectly. We still had chances to score in that game but the same story happened where we failed to take a single chance. Im not saying Gaffney is the answer to this but im sure we have got a bit about us to give Oxford something to worry about. I think we got a chance here to take all 3 points.

Think we need to play high up the pitch, attack them from the kick off, they won't expect that. I feel Roofe will need to be man marked either by Leadbitter or Lockeyer.
With the Gas in full voice should be a great atmosphere.

Substitute Billy Bodin had a late claim for a penalty waved away following a challenge from Hoban in the area.

Think we've won on our last two visits to Oxford... Don't fancy our chances of making it 3 in a row...
Hopefully we can do better than swansea and millwall and keep roofe quite

If we score more than Oxford we should be fine. You could be onto something here.
