Can we not demand reparations from Germany, like Greece are?

They might have been able to race around a track, but to maintain and improve it? Very difficult to get treated seriously when you are a dog.

Eastville went to the dogs literally, in 1939. Just discovered this article online www.greyhoundracinghistory.co.uk/bristoleastville.pdf

Thing is BG, Even though it is long past, I got a fair amount of crap for telling the truth. You know very well that certain groups are not willing to hear it and then will even go into attacking the person who put it into the public domain. I have never understood why many would rather believe a fairytale but then, I guess that is just human nature ? I have had to learn, the hard way, that giving certain information out comes with the risk of being ostracised and vilified. I have certainly developed a much thicker skin now & try not to react as I once did. The block facility has been really good for me and I have even noticed two posters who no longer post, at least not in the past couple of months. There is a fair amount of trolling goes on and it maybe took me longer to see that as I really count myself as a newbie, in comparisons to those who tell me about a forum that Geoff Dunford used to post on. Sorry I didn't reply quickly but I have been giving myself certain limits on time that I spend online. I will send the message now.
