Smashed glass? I hope you mean a drinking receptacle. Cos if it was a window that WOULD have been a pain. You mean it would have been a pane

Utter scum, bet they were drunk as well. No place for it at football. Yes, I hear the sarcasm and get it but many of us can drink and even get drunk, without damaging a place. Just as well there wasn't any such incident then. Jeeeeeeeez.

Could someone from this forum stick up evenings like this in advance? I could have gone straight from work on Friday but didn't know anything about it until I read it here!! I don't buy the EP anymore so my information on events is limited to this forum, thanks

Don't mention the 'box 4 incident' I mentioned it on Twitter but I think I got away with it....

Congratulations, you started something. Taking of that, not heard of one post from Lord justice Gashead since he made up his own version of plan B.

Can confirm I seen drunken yobs falling out of Box4 all night, one even pushed a dear old lady down the stairs-much to the delight of his knuckle dragging friends.

Is this something we could do more regularly?
One of my favourite memories of the promotion run was watching the Hartlepool game beamed back to the Mem on a big screen. Doesn't have to be on that scale - could just open up the bars like they have done here. Presumably there are various regs. and rights over this sort of thing but I would have thought quite a few gasheads would be up for visiting the Mem to watch.

Given that Rovers apparently asked for the match to be moved to Friday night, I wouldn't be surprised if the intention all along was to make some money out of showing this back at the Mem. Good for the Rovers coffers, but a bit tough on those who had already bought their train tickets for the match.

Good for the Rovers coffers, but a bit tough on those who had already bought their train tickets for the match. If that's true why did we particularly request that game to be moved? Also, while people might potentially drink more on a Friday night I don't think you necessarily have to move a game from Saturday at 3PM in order to do a beamback. I think other clubs do this from time to time. But my guess is that you probably have to pay a whopping fee which explains why it doesn't happen very often.

Not sure. According to Cambridge United they wanted to move the game back to 2pm on the Saturday but Rovers asked if they'd have it on Friday night instead.

Slightly strange - was it a case of spotting an opportunity? I'd like to know what the rules are on 'beamback' because I have seen it done on a Saturday afternoons so presumably you can get special permission of some kind but I'm assuming there must be some kind of catch or clubs would do it all the time.

If the commentary was in Albanian it wasn't officially done Ah, well that's another possibility of course! But the versions I've come across were definitely official. I've heard of it done at Huddersfield and Bury at least when they had big games.
