Well, playing against a team which had played 10, lost 10 conceding 51 goals Yate managed about 3 shots in the game. Sorry to say it was really quite dull.

I have to say... Bashley were by far the worst team I have ever seen. First half they hardly got out of their penalty area, let alone half! They parked the bus and Yate had difficulty breaking them down. Shooting occasionally would have helped. I thought Yate were neat and played it on the floor. But the opposition put absolutely no pressure on them. It was too one-sided to be truly entertaining. But I'd go again. So a big thanks to Yate Town FC and their hospitality. Rovers should do more to link with these clubs lower down the pyramid. Tyrone Mings was a big one that got away...
