In an attempt to re-focus the thread, the latest date that should be uppermost in our minds (apparently) is 26th November. What can we reasonably hope will occur then? Will it be good news or bad news that will be announced?

I wouldn't expect to be a fount of insight or information.

No one knows as the terms have been revised but NH or TW have not disclosed the new terms.
It was due to be paid by the end of this year.

I see that Northampton have been issued with a winding up order by HMRC and are also due to pay the council a lot of money very soon!

Looking at their forum they seem in a shocking financial state with suggestions their Chairman and his relations are all involved with the new stand's construction agents who've gone bust owing millions, with Buckingham's also about to sue them plus the local council want their £10m back!!

Yes, you need to accept Plan A is done. It probably is but you need 100%, prior to moving to an alternative plan which wont be as good. Lord help us if the alternative plan isn't even as good as battling residents for 2 years, spending millions on legal costs, plans and applications, fighting our 'partners' in the High Court and finishing up with nothing.
I doubt that plan b involves inventing time travel, so no, it won't be better than that, as that has already happened. If it does involve travelling back in time, then what happens in the future depends on whether the 'single time stream' theory or 'multiple timelines' theory is correct- it could be that this thread has will not ever have will happened.

So you still think we will get something from Sainsbury's?

So you still think we will get something from Sainsbury's? would not surprise me if they had put another offer on the table Really ? Come on, they have had a judge rule in favour of them and we tried to manipulate the terms, of the original contract, ourselves. Something the club and TW don't want to discuss. They made an offer, however derisory, before the first case & that was before the judge found in their favour. I would find it highly unlikely and, in my opinion, within the realms of fantasy, that they would offer a penny. Don't forget we still have the rest of their court costs to pay.

Anyone see Lidl's have now got planing permission for store on Muller Road?
A frend in the Council suggested looking in the planning report for the application, which recommended approval by the way and I found the following:
"There are no allocated sites that could accommodate a store and the only other locations that have been subject to recent retail development proposals are the Memorial Stadium and a site between Gloucester Road and Merton Road.
With regard to the former, there is a legal dispute between Sainsbury's, the applicant, and the owners. If Sainsbury's are relinquished from their contract, this site would still be available for retail development with the current consent expiring June 2016. However a key part of the overall assessment was the relocation of the existing sports use to facilities elsewhere and it is unlikely that this existing sports use could be relocated on the basis of a discount food store operator.
The Merton Road site, which is next to centre, was subject to an application for a retail store but this was refused on the basis of loss of employment land and buildings and highway issues. These issues would still be salient."
Kind of states the bleeding obvious...
