Semantics. NH went after Wycombe for fielding an ineligible player so the FA were supposed to deal with it even though it had already been dealt with. I think it made us look desperate and not accepting we had a crap chairman, manager and the worst team I've seen us field. I just think we really need to get back to being accountable for our own mistakes and maybe we can get back some of the goodwill we used to have Just to try to clear this up, I don't think it is that which is causing people to dislike Wycombe. Rather, its the incident where we were leading a game and they allegedly engineered an abandonment on safety grounds. Higg's reaction to that game Certainly the reason I've taken a disliking to them. Our relegation was all our own doing. Abandoning that game though, absolute scandal!

Had Josh Scowen not thrown himself on the floor pretending to be hurt and then their entire team surrounded the ref and linesman demanding that Clarkeson was sent off, we would quite possibly have got a point at least out of that game. Take 2 points off of Wycombe's total at the end of the season, add 1 on to ours and history is very different.

Football is bloody awful for referees and off field decisions. Truth is we have been total crap and lead into near oblivion by the current board. I imagine the distraction is well accepted by them. Relegation was coming, one way or another, I believe.
