I am not quite sure how the blackthorn will handle the long guitar intro, but I am very much looking forward to hearing it. Regretfully, due to holiday, I shall not hear it until early September.

No football chant posted on any forum has ever taken off anywhere.

Yes, fantastic. Two of my favourite things in one handy bundle. Early 80's Metallica and Stu Sinclair. Awesome idea.

But then again a lot of terrace chants are based on Hymns, Sunday School Songs / Nursery Rhymes.

We haven't done clever or witty chants or songs since Craig Disley was playing for us, our repertoire consists of "Come on You Blues" "{wherever were playing away} is a s**tole - I wanna go home" "We hate City - we are the City haters" "If I had the wings of a sparrow...." "Cheer up Steve Coterill..."(daydream believer tune) ....and that's about it
I don't know why terrace chants at Rovers go so boring and predictable, were fans really more creative in the '70s and '80s, or am I looking back with blue tinted specs?
I'd love to hear a special chant for Sinclair, even recasting tghe old favourite "he's here, hes's there, he's every****where Stu Sinclair" would be better than nothing.

If you're trying to start an argument here, then you're on the right lines. After all we all ought to know, because we've been told often enough, that football wasn't invented until the early to mid-1990's. Anything (and anybody) that happened before that time, is totally unworthy of consideration.
