I assume if £375K is just an interim then Sainsbury's costs to date are around £500K, I doubt our costs are much lower so NH has basically gambled £2m to try and recover £15m, now he's gambling even more which could take it past £2.5m. And the whole gamble'so being funded by a loan from Wonga. Never mind repayment in a couple of months' time, what's the interest rate on that? I can't remember or be arsed to research it. More to the point, what do the interest payments add up to? Somewhere in the same ballpark isn't it - 'about a(nother) Tillson'? Ring it all up, Toni. That should be the new measure of currency. How many Andy Tilsons is.that?

So there WAS a court steps deal offered - I am So effing angry to hear that. Sainsburys give strong indications that they dont want to buy mem anymore, and this leads to court mediation for compensation. Sainsburys offer 1.5 million. Team Higgs want 15 million (half the cost of the asset as a penalty for not buying it). Sainsburys and the judge tell them to get real. Team Higgs decide to risk the financial security of Bristol Rovers to get a better payout, despite KNOWING that such a 'byzantine' contract CAN NEVER be watertight. They lose. We lose. The future of club is put at risk. The future of this club, OUR club, is not safe in the hands of Team Higgs. I don't know how much more evidence is needed. It doesn't matter as many will still and always prefer to hear the lies. Higgs said there were no offers made so once again we have yet another example of how he feels he can treat Rovers fans. I guess there is truth in that we get the club we deserve.

Seems fans are just being fed what they want to hear a "watertight" contract, no offers on the table etc. I guess the suggestion today that most fans want us to continue fighting Sainsbury's is also wide of the mark?
Wouldn't be great if the club was run by a Chairman we could actually trust/like?

It has always been about one mans ego .... This is an absolute slap in the face for ALL true fans !
Lie after lie after lie .... Total contempt for fans ....in the pursuit of glory and a retirement pot.
Enough for me now .... 45 years as a loyal fan .....I stayed away all last season in a mini protest in my own mind against the appalling running of my club ...
I cannot and will not put up with this any more ... Playground bully boy and his henchman ... I'm done until he leaves ... It's not my club as long as he continues bumbling, blustering and right royally destroying this club.

As you've jumped sideways I presume that you now accept that Higgs doesn't pay the bills, the vast majority of the money that floods into Watola's till comes direct from us terrace scum. But let's not get sidetracked here, there is a very serious question hanging over from the first page of this thread. Did Higgs state that no settlement offer had been made by Sainsbury's?
