Due to a 'Technical issue' kiddies kits will not be available at the Fun Day this year (adults are available). Orders for kids kits can be taken on the day with free delivery for disappointed children. I mean Errea have only had ALL SUMMER to get these manufactured in time, why hasn't our Commercial Director been monitoring manufacturing status closely all Summer given that we're late off the blocks again (as usual) getting our kits on sale? We may have retained our league status on the pitch, still decidedly non-league off it ... After relegation even the club acknowledged that our retail offer wasn't good enough and BB was being brought in to improve matters. That was 12 months ago, can anyone give any examples (or 1 example) of any improvements that has made in a f******g year?
The guy camped outside the Mem selling tat out of a trolley was still way better than our current offer - and at least the guy was showing some effort and initiative.
I was going to take my daughter to buy her first kit on Sunday, don't think I'll bother now and I won't be spending any money in the bar either.
When does the guy with the IT skills start?
Pathetic.

Barry formed a retail panel but that was post-relegation lip service.
He knows best, or at least he did in the 80s. Yet another reason the club is stuck in the past. Ragbag Rovers is nothing to be proud of.

I think you'll find the alcohol ban doesn't effect a Pub which caters for families etc as they are not solely promoting alcohol - other drinks are available Not that w've got any bloody junior shirts to sell anyway When I asked Punch Taverns legal team they advised me not to advertise on children's shirts. Everybody knew we sponsored them as the club badge was a small black horse (the name of the pub, not small).

Not seriously suggesting that there are hundreds of kids' shirts with a pub name on them that we can't sell, are you? Actually, yes I am. Does this mean that next time I invade a Middle eastern country, all the little jundis are gonna be running around in blue and white quarters sponsored by the sportsmen? If so this will mess with my rules of engagement!

If they're wearing the red rag from the Dark Side, then it's weapons free !

The guy camped outside the Mem selling tat out of a trolley was still way better than our current offer - and at least the guy was showing some effort and initiative. even more impressive was that as I was leaving there were still sellers turning up. A white van pulled up on filton avenue and 2 sellers get out the back with their trolleys and gear. Within seconds they were set up and selling. They were only 'late' because they'd already been along the route selling their stuff in Kingswood etc. Of course I'm not suggesting this is perfect (bet they don;t pay taxes, have insurance etc] but you have to admire the organisation and sheer Del Boy-ness of it all. Earlier I was reminded of the old Banksy axiom of 'it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission'. there was a guy walking amongst the crowd on the pitch openly selling stuff out of a satchel, whilst the queue to even get in the shop was enormous. You honestly couldn't make this up. I mean with that weather forecast there was NO way Rovers could have organised for similar sellers to be in and around the ground...

The www.brfcdirect.co.uk website is unbelievably bad really. The home page says new 2014-15 home/away kit now available and then redirects to a page saying 2015-16 where you can't order anything. The javascript doesn't work so when you hover over the kit pictures they magically disappear (in Chrome at least). Who is responsible for designing and updating it? I could lend a hand for free. Couldn't make it any worse.

My mum said she could knit me a new shirt in time for the new season, as long as I go to sainsburys and get her a bottle of gin. Oh the dilemma

How many kits do you reckon we order per season from the manufacturer? Any rough ideas?
