We are still in a better position than we were when we left Eastville. We will live through this disappointment and go on and improve. It may take us a long time, but we will never die. UTG

We're a division lower and have a huge high interest loan to pay back within months. Does that count as better?

We had somewhere to play football then. So it comes down to asset v huge high interest loan repayable wishin months. And that we now call the 4th division 'the holy grail'.

Excuse my negativity but
The club and current owners show by their lack of trust in supporters / inability to use the considerable abilty and goodwill of fans and not least their lack of business acumen that they are not fit to manage
I have supported the gas for nearly 50 years and fed up with the lack of achievement on and off the field

LPGas beat me to it. We must not as fans now fall apart and worse still start tearing in to each other (which you are not.)
The fans must stick together. We are the best part of the club and have been for years.

Ah here we go... get relegated to League 2 .. now is not the time to question, it's time for the supporters to SUPPORT Massive debts start to accrue.. .. now is not the time to question, it's time for the supporters to SUPPORT Relegation to non-league ... .. now is not the time to question, it's time for the supporters to SUPPORT Wonga loan taken out ... .. now is not the time to question, it's time for the supporters to SUPPORT UWE stadium collapses despite water-tight contract ... .. now is not the time to question, it's time for the supporters to SUPPORT
The two are not mutually exclusive you know, I think everyone continues to support the team (look at attendances even in Non-League..) but we ARE allowed to question and challenge the way the club is run too aren't we??

Of course we can challenge and complain, the point being made above is for fans not to attack each other and split.

Are you in possession of all the facts regarding these matters? I assume you must be if you are so critical. Look, I wish to show my support for my club at this tough time. Others can do what they like but shouldnt in my view pass judgement on an individual who remains 100% supportive Fact is the Green Party and Sainsburys have screwed us over. Not the board of BRFC.

You can question all you like but unless you have a LOT of money, and I don't then there is very little either you or I can do about it, and that is the truth. We have been screwed by someone bigger and richer than us but isn't that the way the world works? At least it seems to............

Best post EVER ! Higgs has done a great job of dividing to conquer and there are still those that back him, unbelievably so but they do. We're this at the 82 there would be threat and intimidation and more. Luckily that's not us but I wouldn't knock anyone for that. We are only ever rallied by Higgs when he needs something and we are probably the most loyal and good natured in all of football but there is a breaking point and I believe that is today. Anyone, with an ounce of integrity, with credibility and even style, would look at what they have achieved ( or the damage done) under their tenure and work out a way to walk away. Maybe even walk away leaving the club in safe hands. I see a man, a self obssessed Man, who cannot and will not accept he is at fault. A man who believes he can do as he pleases and we have played a part in enabling him. We have kept quiet, allowed fans to be banned. Allowed lies to be left unquestioned, for long enough. Higgs has zero credibility, remember this was supposed to be his "thing" he is supposed to be an expert at building the regulations, he took his eye off of the club, to pursue this. He told us this was watertight when it has been proven, behind a shadow of doubt that it was anything but that. He has shown derision to us fans by closing the official fans forum, has diluted the share scheme so that it is not fit for the purpose it was meant, he has split the fantastic fans and has been an unmitigated disaster yet his response to this ? Without me there would be no Bristol RoVera. Such a lovely man, he's a gashead you know ! Has to have the best interests of the club at heart absolute Bull 5H1T. He is a bloody tyrant, nothing more and nothing less. It's high time Brian Seymour Smith made public his private thought, this would be the perfect time to do that. The 2 fans directors need to man up right now. No, now is not the time to question eh mate. It's time for action but I think even our superb fans, have been driven into the mud so many times, that we are tired of the constant drama and it leaving us in limbo. Another appeal is not what we need. It will just end up with even more of the clubs only asset, being eaten up in costs. Of course this doesn't matter to the tyrant as his money is guaranteed. One has to ask, is he addicted to the drama ? I have never felt this angry about the chairman before even though I had prepared myself for losing the case. It's the reply from the club that did it. We have a dead Duck chairman who is hell bent on pursuing a cause that is unwinnable. No matter if Sainsbury's acted badly, the law is on their side. To hear we are to appeal just sickens me. Higgs could redeem some part of his honour by maybe getting new people in and walking away. I can't see any alternative better than that. If not for my promise of not revealing the people who have spoken to me, I can say that he has only one person on his side, at board level. Everyone else sees him for what he is, a tyrant who has all of the power.

Nick Higgs has been nothing short of a disgrace in his tenure as chairman.
I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if he could pull of UWE, but for the upteenth time him and all the other **** in box 1 have lied through their teeth and treated the lifeblood of the club, us supporters with utter contempt.
f**k Off Higgs.

We have been screwed by someone bigger and richer than us but isn't that the way the world works? At least it seems to............ Yes Bridgey I accept that but not turning investment away. We have Eaves make an offer that was turned down, before relegation, as I recall. It was said that this was GoD that was the one who vetoed but that is just the information given and not fact. I believe Higgs went back to him but that it was too late. Yes, we have allowed this wealthy man to do as he pleases, it US that have enabled him. We have to take our part of the blame too mate this really is the time for BSS and KM to make public their feelings but it's not for me to repeat their words. I would hope they had the 8alls to make public their thoughts. We are in a dictatorship, make no mistake. Pits never been about glory or continued and prolonged success, being gas but I never signed up to be battered and abused by a man who has clearly lost sight of reality. I would like to think I have said enough now. I just feel battered. I never thought my love of the club could affect me so personally but it has and does. It has made me Ill mate. I hear the words and read the words appeal and it just made me sick.
