Where will we get the money to appeal, borrow more from Wonga?
Surely an even riskier strategy

Higgs and his fellow inept bunch have potentially killed our club with their 'water tight case' ....
Pray now they don't announce Administration !!
Not one representative of the club there apart from Fans says it all.
Please if there is a football God .... get these men gone asap!!

Guess the board knew and were getting together to start Plan b immediately.
They've got a plan B!
Losing wasn't an option until one minute before the Judge walked in.

Complicated yes, typically rich and powerful organisation gets the decision. They wanted out as profit % dropped from their original estimates. Stuff the outcome is their attitude, and whilst the legal system will be judged, unbiased on fairness, the rights and wrongs of all of this is a disgrace to this society. Profit means all. Sainsbury's used to pride themselves as the family store, that went a long time ago. I for one will never step foot near them, so what they will say, and it may not make me feel any better, but why support an organisation that clearly cares little about its actions.

Lets not throw money after an appeal. Rally round, realise our position and develop the mem on affordability. A couple of new stands over the next few years will do me.

The club considers that it was abundantly clear throughout the case that Sainsbury’s reneged on its promises to the local community to invest in the region and showed a flagrant disregard for the terms of the contract.
Unfortunately the contract the club signed doesn't suggest that's the case according to the Judge?

Obviously our legal team must have told Higgs and Co what the decision was hence why they didn't travel and had a meeting scheduled.
Higgs has saddled the club with enough debt as it is; if he wants to personally fund an appeal then so be it. No doubt it would take years and ultimately would be a waste.

I presume we're now liable for all court costs - ours & Sainsbury's. Anyone know roughly how much?

We still own the mem, and as long as the directors aren't hostile we have been in worse positions.
