Not naïve at all, they might get paid on a pay as you play basis, the majority will have other jobs and they will not receive any holiday money if they are on a 1 year deal which 99% of them will be, they will probably get some medical insurance. The NI contributions will probably be classed as part time or temporary.
Compare this to Rovers players who are employed full time and either play or train every day, they have longer contracts which include holidays, pensions, and medical insurance.
Naïve? Not really, just know how non league clubs are run.
You have just confirmed you naivety. Come on then, you obviously have a bigger involvement in non league than I do, tell me what is naive about what I have said? Especially as the facts I have stated relate to a Southern League club? or are you unable?

Solihull Moors are National League North one league below Rovers last season so that confirms your naivety.

I'm not interested in teams more than 30 miles from Bristol, or teams that Rovers don't play and why should I be?

LP gas made a statement of how he thought a 6th tier club was run, look back up the thread. He was wrong.

Ah so he was lacking in knowledge how 6th tier clubs are run, not too surprising as I admit I have no idea how they are run

Went on website today and it says that ST's for the North Terrace are now £350, not £300??! There was an early bird deadline in April. There was a season ticket renewal deadline last week, but no mention of an increased price if you missed the deadline, and then that the shop would be closed for a day. I check today and the price is £350!! Super p*ssed off by this, if it is true i feel like the price hike wasn't publicised. I've gone thru threads on here and found nothing, I follow the club on Twitter and was never given the impression that the price would go up at the start of July :0( You can't blame the club for getting in a pickle over deadlines.

Yes, but who provided the pickle ?
