Be nice to know if the director responsible for football development at the club is still with us Be nice to know which directors are responsible for what... the official website would be a good place for a bit of detail but I can't find any Bradshaw took charge of retail, the least said about that the better. We were told that Jelf was going to take charge of first team affairs, but someone said a couple of weeks back that it was difficult for him with his own work committments. Guess that Higgs is responsible for whatever stadium project we are working on this week. No idea what Ware does. BSS and Comedy Ken Masters, in all honesty, I have no idea what either of them do that they couldn't do without holding directors' positions. Does anybody know?

To be fair to Chris Jelf, the Jelf EB board is on record as wanting a takeover - the execs even have bonuses written into their contracts if they achieve a certain price. Its a consolidating market, just waiting for the right deal.

IF CJ can't commit his time to the roel why doesn't he stand down from that position, although you always sensed NH was just playing to the crowd when he announced CJ was in charge of the playing side of things given NH, will no doubt have complete control over theplaying budget.

It's like being at an Indian restaurant with your mates, and one by one they pretend to go to the toilet and sneak out of the door, and when there are only a couple of you left 'RUN!!!!'

Have to say not really heard of him, was he on the board for long, what was his area of expertise ? I'm much the same as you on this one. The other thought that immediately sprung to mind was, has he made any loans to the club which may have to be repaid any time soon?

Can Dunford stand down from a role, the last two times he's done it we've won promotion.
April 2007 - GoD steps down as Chairman. May 2007 - Rovers are promoted.
Summer 2014 - GoD steps down from the board. May 2015 - Rovers are promoted.

Is this a bit odd, or am I too instinctively deploying Kremlinology nowadays when trying to understand BRFC?
I'd expect a club announcement, gushing with praise about his wonderful contribution and wishing him well. Kind of normal courtesy, really. Instead, nada. It seems like he's just being allowed to disappear from the documentation. However, the news of his departure is disseminated, Samizdat style, by a former Commissar, now in exile.
Is this another one who's been declared a non-person, never to be mentioned (let alone invited to a disco) again?
It seems an odd way to run a small football club (but then so does a lot of what they do).

Yes, I thought much the same, assuming he must have gained his place on the board from some financial investment, unless someone knows any different.
