that is exactly why Steven Lansdown and his young son Jon left Eastville one dull, wet day in 1986 after seeing a Snickers bar wrapper on the terraces at the Tote End and hot footed it to BS3 in his blue BMW.
We were so lucky Was it a similar thing that happened with Harry Dolman Mike ? I demand to know. We need some clarity and to be able to deal with this at microscopic level and is there any DNA evidence ? You are, after all, the clubs preminent historian so you should be able to shed light upon the latest scandal to besmirch our family club indeed Dirty harry ....did once consider investment in BRFC his factory in Easton employed hundreds of Rovers supporters and on approaching Rovers in 1945 after Mr Hitler had been found dead in a bunker asked Rovers Chairman if he considered what long term future there would be for the Club after their sale of the Eastville site to Dog racing businessmen....the answer he received was something along the lines we want a new stadium and need major investment ..as he left he slipped on a wet woodbine packet and as they say the rest is history....he drove his red sports car over to Ashton Gate and helped finance a new grandstand named after him

Please join me upstairs, the basement is cold.....and dull. And you should've sorted out their poor website. Oh no you're off the hook you've done exactly what everyone does on this forum f all. Congratulations ........ Well you're entitled to your opinion of course but contrary to your view that everyone of us on this forum do f all, just reading one of the threads currently on this forum actually disproves that. So come on then impress us all, list all the things you're doing for the club that we could also be supporting you with

I visited the mem shop today and there was an empty can of Dr Pepper.....AND...get this....a wham bar wrapper AND an old receipt just lying on the concrete outside. Imagine a young family, interested in our recent success, and those offensive items just lying there for all to see.....they'd immediately about turn to Ashton Gate. I can't see how a professional football club can just leave the place littered and still have the downright cheek to call themselves professional. We need an immediate review in to litter and our general image, it beggars belief. ;-) your a dick Good point, well made, taking the philosophical and esoteric element of this debate to another level. Nietzsche would be impressed with the existential content of your post, blending with the interjection of the finest elements of Descartes and Kierkegaard. I salute you Sir! Now where's me bottle of Montepulciano gone.... bloody wife tidying up again!

Now where's me bottle of Montepulciano gone.... bloody wife tidying up again! that is one beautifully written speech and I would love to share a packet of Bourbon biscuits with you whilst complemented with a large glass of full fat milk! I feel we're edging closer to our first date

How would you have felt were it not Dr Pepper branded detritus. What if it had been an Um Bongo carton? How would you have felt then; you might have started singing ' um bongo, um bongo they drink it in the Congo' and had a completely different day. You are clearly a thoughtful man, don't take rubbish on the ground literally, think more litter ally. I just returned from 3 weeks in the Congo and I can confidently say nobody was drinking um bongo. I feel very embarrassed to have been so mislead by advertising again. I am both gullible and ashamed.

Thanks for that sweeping generalisation CGH, makes us all feel better on a Saturday morning.... The forum regularly deals in sweeping generalisations & not noted any of the mods objecting to that. Perhaps the pinned 'Forum Rules' should be updated to say sweeping generalisations aren't allowed.

The point that people obviously are unable to grasp is that if I was offended by that bit of the website then I would offer to do it better. Of course none of the arsehole moaners on here will ever make that offer & to defend themselves they will talk about the past as if the past is important. I mean f**k it why don't we all go out tonight & kill a German in the name of the past?

Indeed the past is the past,.however it is sometimes possible to learn from it or maybe not. The point is that the same problems when it comes to offers of help or suggestions are still prevalent.

Sadly your limited intelligence obviously can’t differentiate between Germans and Nazis. You talk of "Killing Germans because of the past". What past was that then, idiot? Go back to trolling, snapping at people and claiming that they're the ones that are rattled. You're good at that.

Reading a good history book, or even a poor one, would make you aware of the First World War. A pretty damning indictment that you aren't aware of this.

'Your' could be used as follows: 'Wind your neck in'

Praying that the Greeks exit and keep their sovereignty. It's actually quite similar to how conquered countries who broker peace deals are treated. Cheap labour source with politics dealt with in the centre with an ineffectual puppet govt. Go Grexit!

Anyway, I'm bored of you now. Maybe some enjoy your attempts to lord it over others and be "controversial" for online attention to replace what you clearly crave and don't get at home, but judging by most reactions you get I don't imagine so.

No surprise that you are bored now that your ignorance has been exposed. Don't forget to read those history books and keep counting your money.

'Your' could be used as follows: 'Wind your neck in' Where to start? In your original post, you have abbreviated Memorial to 'mem', no upper case letter used. In the final sentence you have used ' in to' rather than into. Does that make you 'thick'? Don't even bother trying to correct my mistakes, I don't care. Oh, by the way, as it's the first word of a sentence, shouldn't it be 'You're'?
