Very happy with this. I think Gosling is a good young player who really came into his own when given a run in the team.
Well done, Gos.

We need a squad. Gosling is useful back up if nothing else. Happy to have him re-signed

Funnily enough, I was feeling opposite when he pulled the trigger at Southport! What a goal.. Needs to up his consistency, but he def played his part (especially over Xmas v Torquay) in our promotion. Good on ya, Jake..

The lad is young, definitely has some quality, can cut in from the right and score a goal and is picking up incredible experiences with Gibralter. He can only get better, more disciplined and consistent. A bloody good signing!

I'm told he had a word with Bastian Schweinsteiger last weekend about joining the Gas this summer!

He will either sink or swim this season in league 2, good attitude and sensible wages makes it a risk free signing. Needs to get fitter, play on the left wing & add a bit more swagger to his game and he will do okay.

Players develop. Their skill, fitness and awareness are not a constant. The above post about the experienced gained for Gibraltar will give him swagger but an aim and taste for what is quality. Although I've seen only glimpses, he's got pace, a bit of skill and isn't a bad egg. With a year of experience under his belt at Rovers I'm pleased he's helping keep consistency for next year's season. Well done all round BRFC.

He was the match winner at Torquay. 21, serious international experience and a real difference when he is on his game. I suspect DC will bring out the consistency over the coming months. I bet he has not been given a long contract though!

You have it bad eh Mark, Ever since our relegation & subsequent promises made of regular Q&A sessions, root & branch non review, employment of a dedicated PR man who seeks to have done nothing, since the official forum was closed down and the plethora of broken promises, I have quit trying to argue with board and chairman. This is Bristol Rovers 2015 after all. We, the lifeblood of the club, are treated with disdain and the chairman actively has disengaged from us. I don't, for one minute, believe anything has changed. The board got away with it by our promotion and that has been more than enough, for many, to simply forget the gross incompetence and negligence perpetrated by the chairman and his Acolytes I do however trust DC. I spoke with one of our SC directors yesterday & he told me, openly, that we are in a state of limbo until we get the judgment on the court case. It's a very poor state of affairs but it does make sense. I was told that even if we don't get the result we want that at least it will allow for movement in players in. Hope to see you soon mate. I've had a rough time & been seriously ill in hospital but I have bought my first ever ST so hope to see a fair few of you and other FFS members. Try to not let it eat you up Mark. Another remark made by this director was that he feels we will not make any tangible progress until we have a new chairman & board. At least he was honest and open about this. Have a great weekend

Think we need to see him on the left this year as if he plays on the right his only option is to cut inside, for a left back that is a dream just continue showing him the outside & let him run into a dead end.

Best of luck to the lad; I thought he had a good end of season, at the moment you would have to say he might even be in the starting eleven against the cobblers.

We all knew being Rovers was never going to be about glory and regular successes. I accepted that years ago but I have never come across a chairman who seems to push good people away. It's very disappointing to be treated so badly as our fans are just brilliant. I have never been one to feel entitled to anything but I do believe we deserve much better v

Have a great weekend Actually, you're mis-reading me. I don't rate Gosling enough- saw him about 10 times last season and he doesn't make any impact in games. Wants to get on his left at all costs so is useless on the right without pace or any trickery. I wrote a positive post about the U18s signed up as pros :-)

I think we are all hoping and waiting for news and the lack of preparation in previous seasons has seen us fail miserably be I've not been to watch the U18's or go to training sessions for around 2 years now.
