I have been given permission by she who must be obeyed to find a decent picture for our freshly decorated house. Does anybody know where I can get a print of either of Ian Cryers two Rovers related paintings? I'm going to phone the club shop tomorrow, but I figured they wouldn't have one as they have been around for a while now...

I haven't seen that one before. It's lovely. Shame it isn't bigger.

It's weird I have it above my monitor, and it makes a perfect frame above it (god me being arty) but yes if hung on a wall on it's own the large one is small. Above it I have a framed copy of a programme from the day I was born! Oxford United v Rovers, funny I love Bristol but would never want to leave Oxon as I love the area, was it written in the stars?

Reads to me like you feel you were being corrected tho Perhaps LPG didn't realise that 38,000 was over 30,000. I blame Thatcher and her care in the community polices.

I've found several references that state that the record attendance at Eastville Stadium was 39,462, but I can't discover who the opponents were, or the year in which the match was played. Does anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas? 1960 – Highest recorded attendance for a Rovers match. 38,472 v Preston North End in the FA Cup 4th Round, 30 January.

Thanks for that, it looks as if I've read some duff information.
