I didn't go today but saw literally thousands making their way to the Mem, including loads of kids - vital supporters of the future.
Gotta admit I was well wrong - I still think a bus parade for getting out a league we were ashamed to be in seems wrong but the supporters, especially young supporters, deserved the fun day out. Well done the club.

I thought it was brilliant, Kingswood looked mental, and at the Mem, but even where i was on Church Road, where groups of 10-30 fans were clumped down the route - felt good. Glad we didn't do it thru the centre.
I admit i was wrong as well, thought it was a bad idea, but if felt very genuine and a good way to sign off from what's been a crazy last two seasons.
Next season we're gonna rip through that league, Man Vs Food style. Plenty of big games down the Mem. Can't wait.

I went. I may have just picked a bad spot, but, I think it was a bit of an anti-climax.

no problems with the bit at the ground but a bus ride after not even winning the league in abit of a joke. just more ammo for the bs3 tozzers

We went down to the ground and had a great time, but we did see a couple of my daughter's friends while we were on the way down - standing waiting in Kingswood high street wearing their shirts and ear-to-ear grins. They couldn't make it to the ground for whatever reason, but it's likely they'll remember this morning when they're old enough to get there under their own steam. Even if they don't, they deserve the chance to see their Saturday afternoon heroes celebrate as much as the rest of us if there's a chance going begging. I wasn't wild about the idea of a bus tour just yet either, but the looks on those kids' faces meant something to me. What BS3 thinks means nothing to me at all.

I was pretty cynical about the open top bus, but I quickly forgot that when I saw my friends' small children's faces light up as the bus went past. Who gives a monkeys what the red unwashed may think?

I went, I saw, I was glad I did. Kingswood was shown on Sky Sports News after a Chelsea feature " Chelsea weren't the only team having a bus tour". It looked pretty good TBH.

All I seem to be seeing is people taking the piss out of one picture. There are some toss pots about trying anyway they can to put us down.

I was in Kingswood outside the Legion so please don't take the piss or exaggerate a thoroughly embarrassing spectacle...for those who weren't there but are reading this, a few turned up and most people were confused about what was going on or who was on the bus, as for groups of 10-30 there were more people on the bus stops. Big mistake.

Big mistake. Not where I was, there were literally thousands at the Mem, many who walked to the ground and cheered the open top bus on its way. It was really well attended by far more than I thought there would be a week after our success but if you don't want to see something well what can I say ?
