Special mention to one of our most consistant performers who showed great loyality last summer when others, who hadn't shown such consistancy, couldn't get away fast enough. Top bloke, top player, top attitude. If he's still here next season he will be starting his 5th season with us and its rare to get that many years from a player these days. Hopefully the days of signing 'conveyor belt' players who are just here to pick up a wage are gone.

Top shout.
The PT/LL era worked best when the likes of Hinton,Campbell,Elliott and Lescott had been around for a couple of years and we had some stability.
Parkes and the youth graduates provide a bit of that too, plus Lines being back will feel like he's not been away.

It was good to end on a high for Phil Kite too. Wonder what ex player will be the new physio!

Couldn't agree more. Absolute top bloke, one of the few from last season that I'd understand leaving, but he stayed and performed splendidly for us. Can't thank him enough.

What is Yates's official role now?.My deflated Tranmere fan mate says he was a legend whilst there.Forgotten he'd played at Prenton Park..Has a major presence stood outside the box and willing the boys on.Much more than a kit-man me thinks but the three of them Marcus ,DC and Yatesy seem to compliment each other well.

Kit man and coach isnt he? I think. Yates coaching the defenders, Darrell coaching the midfielders and Stewart coaching the forwards. Mildenhall coaching Puddy/Preston? Just a guess.

Unsung hero.
He promised to stick by us when almost certainly he could have plied his trade in the football league last season.
Played every match he was fit enough to, even though he didn't shine every single match.
He fulfilled his promise by taking a little responsibility for relegation, by stepping up to the mark and converting a brilliant well taken penalty.
Utmost respect to him, hope he is rewarded with some kind of contract extension.
He is the kind of guy whom you can imagine still having affection for the club long after playing day's over. Salute to you, Lee Brown. Top man and thanks..

Good penalty too. Only pen we scored to send the keeper the wrong way!

Well said, couldn't agree more. Excellent left-back for League Two football so I'm pleased he's staying.

Thought he had his worst match of the season (that I've seen!) yesterday, but that was mainly due to being closed down quickly. Grimsby had obviously done their homework on him and Monkhouse. Having said that, his penalty was quality and I'll forgive him anything else for that!!

Our longest serving player as well! just gets on with the job. No whinging, no bad discipline and silly fouls , has an eye for a goal, can take free kicks, can take corners, can take pens, proper left footed, fit, healthy, never injured, honest, loyal.
Doesn't f**k around on twitter or stick his cock in cups either.
What else can we ask for?

2011–12 48 games [7 goals - 3 yellows] 2012–13 42 games [3 goals - 2 yellows] 2013–14 48 games [2 goals - 3 yellows] 2014–15 47 games [2 goals - NIL yellows - 9 assists]
Quite remarkable stats.
I cant remember the exact assists for 13/14 season but I remember they were the highest at the club. It was only about 5 i think, but far more than Michael Smith on the other side; just like he has far more this season than Lockyer & Leadbitter combined [2]

I've been saying for a long time how good he is, not a glory hog, not a whinger, he just gets the job done!
Was over the moon when he stayed last season, I fully expected him to move on.
He's also a really nice bloke too! He bought my 6 year old a mini football at the open day last year and signed it for him! Needless to say he's my sons favourite player!

Player of the season for me.
Brilliant, consistent, and a winner.
Seems like a top bloke from interviews too. his partnership with monkey down the left won us many games.
Browner is a Gashead
