Great time to be a gas head and regained some of our pride but we still have a much more important day in London soon not a trip to Wembley to decide where we will be playing next season but a court date to determine where we will be playing for the next hundred years in my opion a much vital day for the welfare of this club thought by now sainsburys might have made an offer because I don't think they want all the publicity this will genarate

Not a lot we can do now. Either a settlement happens soon or we rely on our legal peeps to present a case in our favour that the courts will side with

Any news on how long the hearing is likely to take and when we will get a judgement? I think I read that the hearing was scheduled for 7 days a while back but I've been slightly out of the loop so I don't know if there's been more info.

Think Bamber said on one of his posts its 7 days and the judge can do a written judgement by June and/or can give a verbal one soon after the case

Judge Rinder would sort it sooner That's as may be, but we've drawn Mr Justice Roth for our sins. I just hope that he's an OK sort of bloke, and a football fan as well.

From the Bristol Post, February 9 . . . sheeet, so there is a chance (maybe slim) we might know the decision before Sunday. That could be 'groundbreaking' - Court win + Wembley win = Court loss + Wembley win = Great to be back in the FL, but can't see us ever getting anywhere with the Mem as our stadium Court win + Wembley loss = Great for long term future, dodgy for short term Court loss + Wembley loss = Just another week being a f**king Gahsead! BTW - I realise the Court case may not be as simple as 'win' or 'loss'. Nothing is simple being a Pirate.

Indeed, as I said before. No matter how confident we might be, there is still a chance of losing and if a decent (whatever decent might be to NH and the baord)is put on the table can they really afford and risk not to take it

If its an out of court settlement we may never know the amount, as settlements usually have a confidentialality clause in them.
I still feel that we will get "something" out of it. I understand that some retired judges have reviewed the case and have advised BRFC to go ahead with the case.

Unless it's peanuts a settlement would stick out like a sore thumb even if the exact amount is unknown

I still think the Board have Plan B in place, and what is required is a sum to make up the difference on what Sainsbury's offered, and what Plan B offers. I think the solution is Plan B + Compensation from Sainsbury's..................but what will be the magic settlement figure that the Board require?
