Pipe got no applause from us on Wednesday night, in fact quite the opposite. Cole got plenty of abuse from us and he wasn't even playing

I'm totally indifferent to them. I just want to see us win today and am not remotely interested in ex players. Cheer or boo them if you want, I would much prefer it if we ignored them.

No. Especially not Pipe, who shamed our football club.

Surely anyone who was at FGR on Wednesday would not applaud Clough, what he did to Matt Taylor in the first half was dangerous and he should have been red carded, then with Puddy second half he again showed his stupidity..they are surely one of the most thuggish teams that I can remember seeing, lets hope Rovers don't get any injuries or red cards.

Actually, Pipe gave a good account of himself and applauded us at the end. Taylor had him a couple of times second half.
Hopefully we move past him and fgr and march out the division, so left him on good terms rather than bad.

Pipe gave 100% for us but sadly f-ked it up by making a terrible and ugly mistake one night on Park street, rightly he was jailed and sentenced to 30 odd months, not sure how long he spent inside - but joined Newport in September 2011. He helped them back into the league as well as becoming captain, after 3 years there he joined FGR and was also made captain.
Over the two legs I thought he played ok and can't remember any recklessness from him, tho maybe he's been more aggressive against other opponents. As when with us he gave 100% for FGR and had he played the game in holding midfield before Bennet went off, Mansell and Lines would have had a harder time. After applauding his current fans he came on his own to applaud us and then rejoined his team to head toward the changing rooms and before heading down the tunnel turned for some moments to gaze around the Mem.
Have you not made mistakes in your life? I certainly have, mistakes of all shapes and sizes, but you move forward rather than allowing regret to consume you. Credit to David Pipe for rebuilding his career, captaining two sides I would infer shows a man who has matured and gained wisdom after returning to football. I applauded him yesterday and would wish him well in the future - But no, I wouldn't have him back.

I respect David Pipe, always gave 110% for the Gas and I was with him all evening in the hotel Bar in Jury's Inn Leeds when we were staying in the same hotel as the team a few years ago, was a top bloke. Seen him after the FGR game last year and he was saying how he will always respect the fans at Rovers. As for Clough, he didn't really do much at Rovers to warrant an applause. He smashed a wine bottle in a man's face. If you do things like that, you're an animal. No normal human being does that. I reckon it was the roids. Look how massive he is, very rare for most people to get that big without pins. Plus no hair at v early age. Coincidence?

Pipe came back on the pitch to "warm down" at the end but it looked to me that he was possibly just having one last look and feel of the Mem.
When he left the ground was emptying but he clapped the Rovers supporters and 90% clapped him back.
I clapped, I think it was a farewell clap and he knew it.

PS - I didnt clap the other two. Clough blew all chances of that in the first leg and Coles is just an idiot

In fairness to Pipe he did his time, has probably learned a big one from it and in both games clearly wanted to show his appreciation for the club and clapped us, whether that was also a humble apology knowing that he was at a good club and let himself and the club down, only he knows that. He has to live with it and continue to deal with what he did.
I took it as a humble gesture on both occasions, and if that's true, fair play to the bloke

If you speak to him you wouldn't get the impression that he is arrogant at all, which many people would think.
