By what definition are 'FGR' sustainable? They're a rich man's vanity project, no better than Rubbish and Dustbins were. the stadium existed before Dale Vince got involved. He has mainly tinkered at the edges, and put all sorts of eco projects into fruition. More off the park than on the park(in). Unlike Eastleigh they mainly take lower lge players, and don't pay money for them either. Just like us they raided Salisbury City. I suspect they aren't as 'bank rolled' as people think.

Hughes, Parkin, Coles, Rodgers, Pipe, Fleetwood (second time around) are or were players that 'FGR' would have struggled to get when they were still called Forest Green Rovers.

true. although hughes has gone, Fleetwood is only on loan, Coles is also a coach (thus maybe value for money - LOL) Pipe was released by Newport. I'm not saying they aren't bankrolled to a degree, but it would be interesting to see what a smaller club can do with efficient systems, no huge loans, no legal fees, no s**tmanagers to pay off, not s**t contracts to pay off, etc. I bet we are still paying for sacking Ian Atkins
