It looked like a foul on Puddy. The slow-mo makes it even clearer, in my opinion.

Blatant foul, he's a big unit and his left fist/arm goes straight into the chest/throat area of Puddy whilst the keeper has both feet off the ground meaning that he will lose all of his balance. The linesman & the referee both could see it, feel cheated by that one, McChrystal went chasing after the ref.

Its a foul anyway you look at it. I'm even more disappointed now I've seen that.
Eyes on the keeper, arm outstretched, pushes him backwards. Obvious foul.

I think some will have a bit of back tracking to do in their criticism of Puddy on this one, but I won't hold my breath.
Both feet off the floor, ball has been caught & he's being pushed with both hands by the forward. HOW has the ref not blown for that??
Even more of a sickener.

In any other league that was a nailed on foul. Mediocre refereeing... again.

I'd also point out what a great header by Blissett that was for the goal.

Who was that trying to punch it off the line, makes puddy look like a good keeper, should get banned for that really

not the worst foul i've seen, but a foul nonetheless
personally I still think Puddy deserves his place and should never of been dropped

A clear foul but that's the problem of the goalie being a bit light weight, size wise, although it's hard to believe failure to get promoted might well now come down to that one, poor, decision.

Initial view was that he'd simply spilled the ball, but it is clear that Modeste had grabbed him.

Could not see that from the away end, that was a foul in any other division, nailed on. Sickening But, I never blamed Puddy. And stuff like that happens
The fact remains we were set up all wrong, the tactics were inept and the players did not play well.
Lets not lose sight of the real reason we chucked away two points shall we.

Im gobsmacked that nobody has even mentioned the awful attempt at a headed clearance from Brown as the ball comes in. If he does his job properly, that ball is out and away. More Lee Browns fault than Puddys.

You lot honestly, really, genuinely are the biggest **** in the world. First title since 1953? I thought you won it in 1990?

I agree that it looks a clear-cut foul, but what I fail to understand is why no Rovers player (bar one) seemed to appeal the goal.

P.S. anyone in life who can't even be a gracious WINNER, is a sad sack IMO.
I can understand ungracious losers, but ungracious winners are pathetic.

I agree that it looks a clear-cut foul, but what I fail to understand is why no Rovers player (bar one) seemed to appeal the goal. they did, but the video cuts off before they show it. the first reaction was despair at the timing of it i think, hence players falling to the ground etc, then complaint. Ref ran away very fast as he knew he was going to get some criticism.

The other angle I saw looked like legit goal. Even on this angle it's 50:50, I'm not sure it's nailed on. Rovers players didn't protest.
