Don't know who thinks we are the Barcelona of the conference but some tossers believe DC is the conference Mourinho & they had some of the lowest expectations I was on about the people who thought we had a divine right to be champions and wanted DC sacked after 3 games. Not sure anyone thinks hes the non league Mourinho, but some folk think he deserves better than constant criticism given that we are 2nd. He gets criticised because we play like sh*te week in week out. I wouldn't have sacked him after 3 games, I wouldn't have appointed him in the first place. |

100% yes and anyone who says otherwise is talking crap. As I've said before, a thread went up in the summer and I can't remember even one person thinking we would be in the top 2 come the end of the campaign. Second place, one point off of the title with 6 to play. Great position to be in! Errr, yes if this was League 1, or even League 2. We're in the Conference mate - Macc are part timers.
No I wouldn't have taken it being out of our hands at this stage of the season. Anything less then first should be unacceptable for a club this size in this division.
I assume thats the same for Leeds in the Championshp, Sheffield Utd in League 1 and Portsmouth in League 2? Be realistic. The club had struggled for four seasons, you suddenly expect to half the budget and become world beaters overnight?!? |

Sure, we've been a little short on goals and have drawn a few too many but for a s**te team we're doing alright. Ward was a busted flush who was solely responsible for relegation while mocking the fans for daring to be upset. Would you have kept him on? |

Six games to go, breathing down the neck of leaders Barnet and in with a serious chance of promotion. Personally, I would have absolutely bitten your hand off if you had offered me this scenario back in August - especially after our disastrous opening week. I would have been delighted if someone had told me this would be where we would be in March. I thought we would struggle to make an impact on the division.

Macclesfield are full time. Our size? Luton are bigger: Oxford have had a better history, Grimsby, and Lincoln and Wrexham are more our size and they have been down here for years, we are still getting used to it |

You have yet to understand that we are a Conference club in the Conference along with other good conference teams. Forget the "we are a big bollox club" because we are not. Even in this league. Yes we get good gates, but they don't come anywhere near covering the wages of the players. Luton here for years , each time getting average gates of 7,000. The gates are meaning less. If you honestly think we play s**te every week you either don't go to the games; turn up too pissed to see what's going on, or you need to wear a good pair of glasses. You seem to be very angry, if you have spent the whole of the season with that anger then watching Bristol Rovers isn't good for you and you should stop it before it affects your health |
