Great report Steve....
My biggest concern is McCrystal .... totally agree he has gone backwards recently and is an accident waiting to happen every game.
If Trotman isn't quite fit I would put Lockyer back there no question.

Have to agree with Bamber, Lines was a big disappointment compared to Easter's impressive showing last night, when Aldershot scored Lines went missing for the rest of the first half when he should really have been dominating the midfield, out of the two the usually average Lockyer was the better player last night. Plus Lines odd ballooned corners were pointless as was his late weak free kick. I sense he'll have to do better next week if we are to get a result.
As far as MofM your love in with Leadbitter gets odder each week whilst he had a good game nothing he did was game changing unlike Monkhouse, Brown or Easter.. With regards to McChrystal he seemed to be doing OK until he was taken out mid way though the half in what looked to me to be an elbow, fortunately he got his composure back under control during the half time break.

Toppergas, As I have said many times Football is all about opinions and of course you are entitled to yours. As regards Leadbitter it seems odd that you comment on this so I checked the scores given on Gas Chat which was a total of 12 entries and scores of 7,8,7,7,7,7,7,7,7.5,7.5 so my 7 doesn't appear to be out of the ordinary. As regards Lines he obtained 7,6,7,8,8,7,7,7,7.5,7,8,7 so again my 7.5 seems in line or thereabouts with what others thought. I know 12 out of 7400 isn't that great but its all I have to refer to for comparisons not that I particularly worry as my marks are only the way I see the game. I agree with you as regards nothing game changing however surely the two interceptions he made when we were caught on the break are in a way "game changing"? I mark based on my opinion of their contribution to the game as a whole and not on game changing moments. from those scores given by others it would appear that yours and Bambers assessment are maybe out more than mine but I enjoy reading your contribution whether or not it agrees with mine. That's what forums are all about and makes good discussions. At the nd of the day the only person whose assessment really counts is DC's!!!

Also Trotters attacks the ball, Mac just waits for it
