If we win our next 2 it'll be hard not to go if you have the money and time. I reckon 150 odd will stay over 50 scotland gas will probably go... Push towards 650 I reckon The number of Gas in Gateshead would determine which part of the ground would house us. This from the football ground guide: www.footballgroundguide.com/conference/gateshead.htm"The location of away supporters is dependent on the projected size of the away following. If there is to be less than 400 fans, they are usually housed in North end of the Tyne & Wear Main Stand. Larger followings are allocated the opposite East Stand. If you find yourself in the Main Stand then you will find that this stand is free of supporting pillars and has an unobstructed view of the playing action. There are televisions on the concourses showing SKY TV. Plus catering in the Main Stand is pretty good offering a selection of pies, pasties and sausage rolls, plus hot dogs and a range of hot and cold drinks at reasonable prices. Alcohol is also available. However, the Main Stand is well set back from the pitch. Not only is there the eight lanes of the athletics track to contend with, but also a long jump run up and pit. So if you have sight problems, best bring those binoculars! The 4,000 capacity East Stand is also well setback, but for the first time since the stadium was constructed is now fully roofed. Adam Hodson a visiting Stockport County fan adds; 'We were allocated the East Stand, which I thought was pretty good with no obstructions and plenty of leg room. To get to the East Stand, walk anti-clockwise around the stadium from the main Tyne & Wear Stand, turn left and follow the pedestrian track until you get to the East Stand'."

Easily see a 1000+ at Gateshead , especially if we can turn the next 2 home games into 6 points and I think I'm being conservative with that shout Not trying to put a dampener on things but I'd be amazed , dumbfounded and gob smacked if we took a 1,000 plus fans to Gateshead. Prepare to be gobsmacked, dumbfounded and amazed then, people doubted me when I said we'd take 2000+ to Woking but I was right . After watching Rovers since 1979 you get a general feeling of people's mindset when it comes to travelling , many booked plane travel on the release of the fixture list and now due to our lofty position and form this will only encourage more to travel. Big IF and I don't wish to tempt fate but we could possibly be 2 points clear at the top going into the Gateshead game and if that's the scenario we will take more than 1500 , Us Gas don't seem to worry about mileage when it comes travelling when things are going for us. Watch this space

Anyone know the away attendances to Gatehead this season so far? See previous thread for away attendances at Gateshead up to mid January. gasheads.org/thread/2153/away-support?page=1&scrollTo=54288After 14 games, the average was 104. Lowest was Telford (11). Highest was Grimsby (288). This doesn't include last Saturday's home game against Nuneaton (away attendance unknown). Incidentally, for that game, Gateshead's own website reported: "[Nuneaton] – winless in 2015 ahead of the fixture – were good value for their victory, with the Heed turning in perhaps their most lifeless performance all campaign".

The flight that gets in to Newcastle at 2.10 is only £32. Is it possible to get from the airport to Gateshead Fc in 50 mins?

Newcastle is a relatively small airport, more Bristol than Manchester, so you'll be in a taxi within 15 minutes of touchdown and should reach Gateshead just in time for kick off.

Metro runs straight to Gateshead International Stadium so should be OK. Anybody on that flight can discuss a cab if that seems better I guess
