Could someone give a bullet point overview of the recent history of the board changes and why this is effecting the situation now (also why was a certain Kevin banned from stadium and what is/was his position to deserve this. I'm trying to get my head around the political make-up of the higher echelons of BRFC as most of what's being said on here is going over my head - - - a bit like Game of Thrones!
Much appreciated.

The players are Chairman: Nick Higgs / Directors: Geoff Dunford, Barry Bradshaw, Edward Ware, Rodney King, Chris Jelf, Ken Masters and Brian Seymour-Smith / Director of Finance: Toni Watola / Kevin Spencer. The story is? .................................

Nick Higgs is still trying to find the evidence for my ban and has promised to get back to me in the summer.
At the time of the ban it was stated that it was because of "consistent criticism" the reasons changed over the following few weeks as they tried to justify themselves.

I am supporting which ever group has the three dragons; certainly steering away from the bunch which live in the north on the wall, although I could be pursuaded to join the night walkers; I am luving the analogy, Game of Thrones ***** rocks, cannot wait for the last episode of season 4 on monday night. Ditto. No surprise you're supporting the hot blonde that plays with her dragon! I'm going for Jon Snow - true leader! I hear a Lannister will die in The Westerlands - but which one!?!?

I've not watch Game of Thrones and don't intend to, however I heard Kevin was caught outside of Santa's Grotto selling meth with Jesse Pinkawayshirtman.

I think 'consistent critisism' is as acurate an explanation as you're ever going to get from a bunch of hopeless bullies who can dish it out but can't take it back. Edit. I do recall some 'evidence' which consisted of abusive MB posts that were nothing to do with you.

Sorry I am getting old and a full history could destroy what time I have left on earth, but a quick (very quick) view point from me is. Mr Dunford son of a very good man. Mr Bradshaw, him of funny ideas (snax box, and used to be the area director for our shirt manufacturers). Mr Ware (never met the guy, but has lots of balls, as in wrecking balls or is that Mr King, never met him either). Mr Jelf, only met him once and seemed a nice guy. Masters and Smith waste of time! Watola, as the native Indians would say Mr Loosetongue!
As for why Kevin is banned, well your guess is as good as mine, all I will say is I have met him a few times and is a gentleman. I do not care what he says, he is still pure GAS! Chatting to a friend last night and he commented it all went wrong for Rovers when the boardroom takeover went wrong, sorry it was never about a boardroom takeover it was about what was good for Rovers (old ground) but I still 100% believe that if the changes had been put in place we would not be in the position we are in now.
I know I have not answered any of your questions.

This implies that inconsistent criticism would somehow be acceptable.

One old chestnut from BoD supporters is 'if they went who would bankroll Rovers?'
Thanks to the abnormally low expectations of our fans, we do not need bankrolling. Everything is in place at Rovers for the club to be safely in L1, which most fans would be happy with, with no need for losses to be bailed out by Directors loans every year. We own a 12,000 capacity stadium and even when we are struggling we get gates of 5/6,000, which most clubs at our level could only dream of.
Our BoD have clearly chosen to run the club this way, and that is why I have no sympathy for them, and no time for their apologists.

They banned him in a fit of pique, and when it blew up in their faces they went all over the place.

1. acting or done in the same way over time, especially so as to be fair or accurate.
2. (of an argument or set of ideas) not containing any logical contradictions.
