We need to rise above negativity bristolians are notorious for moaning when things don't go to plan we need to be proactive in setting the mood the atmosphere we are in this conference for a reason but that doesn't mean we can't encourage and be positive we should welcome good honest pros into this club whom want to do well with us we can win this league we should not just blame the board for adversity we should get off our backsides support the players management club board and move this club up the leagues glass is now FULL⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Nothing wrong with optimism, but 36 points from a possible 42 is the stuff of fairytales when it comes to Rovers! We will do well to take 22 points with the games we have left

Link re Bristolians always moaning well I know being a salesman the Bristol area is notorious for being the hardest area in the country to sell in due to the customers negativity ! So many objections are put up and this same negative attitude is one of the reasons why we have 2nd rate football stadiums we have to go to Birmingham Manchester even Cardiff to watch major sporting events or concerts we blame ,we should rise above and not take negativity of course we can catch Barnet they are not a Chelsea popping down to our league for a season they are not well supported they are not throwing money at players they have and can loose games Up the Gas !!

Hey! What's with all negativity towards Bristolians and your Bristolian customers. Come on! Fill your glass about Bristol will you? Bloody typical of a Bristolian to be so negative. Hey when you were a kid did you ever look in the mirror at a mirror so it looked like it was a tunnel of infinity? Anyway, what were we talking about?

Hooray. Staying down is not an option. Everything's gonna be alright. I'm feeling glad all over. Phew.

We don't need to win 12 games though all we need is for Barnet to slip up for 2 or 3 games whilst we have another good run during those games, the points gap could disappear or at least be reduced to a point or two. Then it's which team can hold their nerve until the end of the season.
With Sinclair & Easter fit, and assuming Dawson's another LDV type player, I'd be confident we could run Barnet close, although there's no signs of either player being back anytime soon.

Just found this on the Barnet form which appears to have been lifted from the Grimsby forum, if you swap the Grimsby v Rovers result around we finish as Champions! Although I can't see Grimsby's even winning at FGR tomorrow, if they do they could well challenge us for a top spot.
This is the run in of remaining games with my predicted results. I've not bothered about games left to play if in the trophy.

The issue is that 7 points with 14 games to go is a fairly decent lead particularly if you look at the runs ins the 2 teams have where we have what looks like series of tricky away ganes. To catch them we'd have to win pretty all our home games and find a consistency in winning away which we haven't managed all season. It seems unlikely to me. However, I would be happy with the playoffs given where we started from and how sides usually fair in their first season after relegation to the Conferences and to do that all we probably need to do is keep winning at home. Then it is a lottery though I have this recurring fear of a Craig Disley header breaking Gashead hearts at Wembley in the 91st minute.I wonder if he'd celebrate

The facts are over the past 7 seasons the average points gained from the top 5 teams from the last 14 games is 33pts we just need to match this average ie 91 points History says that conference teams perform better in the last third of the season we can do this

Barnet have 26 points from their last 14 games they currently have 65 plus 26 = 91 pts So we actually need 34 points = 92 Champions Up the Gas

When we won DivIII championship in 1990, we lost just 5 matches. All away. I wonder if we can do better?
We are top of the form league over 8 games and have rarely been out of top 3 last couple of months.
It is definitely achievable, we can do it..
