Would this all mean Dartford get a reprieve? Hope so I have wanted to go to the Dartford stadium for sometime, its advertised as eco friendly and slightly eccentric. It's a Tory pit.

Apparently Salisbury people still in talks with conference league hoping to get another 24 hours to raise approx £29,000 and guarantees to keep the club afloat for whole of next season.
Mancgas, keep us informed if they are holding some sort of fund raiser. Cheers.

You have to feel for them. It appears the tosser probably has a criminal record and uses at least three aliases. Someone 'Outail Touzar' also tried to become an agent through the Moroccan Football Association in Sep 2013. Him and his mate El Baqali had a tinpot Global Green Generation Group, Inc. business (more than likely no longer exists and faced insolvency) which ran from a PO Box No. in Cambridge, Massachusetts. El Baqali, who is meant to be involved somewhere along the line with Touzar at Salisbury, also runs a tinpot, ramshackle limo service, again in Massachusetts. Touzar is alleged to have tried stealing money from the club safe and also allegedly tried laundering money through the club. f**k knows what else. What a mess.

Yes, I thought the same. Maybe we could hire a Hummer and drive there

Salisbury update:
June 12, 2014 6:46 pm
A 5 PM deadline set by the Conference tonight to address some financial issues relating to Salisbury City FC has passed without any action being taken against the club for the time being. Salisbury City FC have asked for an extension from the league and presented them with evidence to support their claim. Furthermore the club today have, upon legal advice, taken steps to remove the current owner, Mr Otail A.S. Touzar after information surfaced questioning the legitimacy of his takeover of the club. Following consultation with legal experts, Mr Touzar has been banned from the club and will be served with legal papers in the forthcoming days to overturn his ownership. At this point in time no further statement will be made.

Reckon it is more like " Give us some time to get rid of numb nuts in charge and we will then pay our dues". In which case I reckon they will just scrape it.

Clarification from the Football Conference -
Conference statement in the matter of Salisbury City FC Ltd will be made at 1300hrs Friday 13 June via official website.
To make it clear. No extensions have been granted. The Conference is now following legal process matters under company law articles. Legal process will be finalised in morning on what has happened up to 5pm this evening. Nothing more or less. Other statements erroneous.

I can't help but be impressed by the way the Conference go about their business. They appear to be a very efficient and well run organisation.
