Given til Thursday to pay off their "Footballing Debt" or will be thrown out of the Conference. That's why White was on a free.

At the AGM, the Constitution of the Football Conference was agreed by member clubs with caveat. Conditions exist on Hereford United and Salisbury City (as reported in the earlier press releases) with cleared funds on Monday.
There was a standing ovation for John Still of Luton Town when he stepped up to receive the Skrill Premier award for manager of the year ... let's hope next year it's a manager with the initials, D.C. (holds breath that there isn't another Conference manager with those initials).

From that article I see that . . .
Possibly one that slipped through the BRFC net, eh?

Would be nice if the Football League moved so quickly and with such positivity to get "rouge" clubs to pay their debts or act in an appropriate financial manner.
The Conference action is very quick, very clear, just how it should be!

Bristol City, Swindon Town, Man United, Arsenal - they're all "rouge" clubs.
I know, I know - nobody loves a smartass..............

No. White was a free agent because he hadn't been paid.
That's what DC told me directly and I've seen no reason to disbelieve him since.

Salisbury City put under transfer embargo by Football Conference.
The new owners have been told they must pay the outstanding wages by Thursday or risk being thrown out the league.

To be fair Sprout I'd raise and eyebrow over that sort of investment. I agree, I don't advocate any old investment, It's more that we constantly hear no one wants in at BRFC, yet countless smaller clubs can attract people willing to spend plenty on them and for what?

and no one wants to invest in BRFC i do !! Me too but not with this same bunch as our pathfinders. You know how much knowledge and talent we have in our fanbase Henbury. All it takes is some goodwill and honest, open dialogue with communication and we could utilise that as we did under Denis Dunford.

The new owners have been told they must pay the outstanding wages by Thursday or risk being thrown out the league. That bloody sad as they have done well. I have friends who go to watch them and they have all said how entertaining the games are. I hope they manage to sort it out

and no one wants to invest in BRFC Be careful what you wish for, look at Leeds United for example. I have some very negative feelings over their situation. But it does seem strange doesn't it, that no-one is interested in investing in BRFC, even with the new stadium development now being in position. The asking price, perhaps?

I certainly don't advocate selling out at the first opportunity, or even at all, yet it is strange how no one ever seems to be interested in BRFC.

Let's face it Leeds had that Bates bloke in control at one time. Since then it's got worse. How do we know no one wants to invest in Rovers?

It's happening soon if certain rumours are right
