I am available to sign my contribution for a very reasonable rate. I tell people it's £10 normally but a signed copy is £8 as it reduces the value

BTW - general thanks for anyone who has bought it, talked about it, etc. After a worrying start, it's now sold close to a couple of hundred copies (including almost 50 in the club/SC shops), so as long as I keep up the sales at least I won't lose money over it. And people seem to be enjoying it as well. It's like comfort food for the winter

What a great book! A must have Crimbo pressy for any gashead I reckon. Surprised (and pleased of course) with the quality of the paper as was expecting your old school paperback stuff but it's far far improved from that.Well done you Martin, you have produced a superb result.

Latest Chrimbo Buying Info
Mail OrderI reckon it's still safe to order online from me ( www.awaythegas.org.uk) until the end of the week (I will send books out the day I get the order, or will hand deliver this Thursday or Friday if on the Eastern side of Bristol / Keynsham / Bath etc), but I obviously have to add the caveat that nothing can quite be guaranteed as it will 'just' be Royal Mail. I worked for Royal Mail a few times before Christmas, and I actually found that most people do post early, so the last few days before the 25th are actually rather swift and efficient, but again I don't want to guarantee anything as it's out of my control if it's in the post system and I wouldn't wish to have any disappointed customers. Shops / In person- Both the Club Shop at the Mem and the Supporters Club at Two Mile Hill have been restocked this week and will have it available right up to the 24th I hope. The club shop will be open before and after the Gateshead game as well.
- Beast, in the Corn Exchange (St.Nick's market), also have a few copies in stock (stall 50 in the Exchange Hall).
- I will be running a stall on Friday (19th) in the old Green Park Station in Bath (next to Sainsbury's) from around 9.15 to 5pm. I will probably also be there on Monday to Wednesday (22nd-24th), circa 9.30 to 5, depending on whether I get any customers (my stall is mainly to sell my Banksy books and B&W photos). Feel free to come and say hello, and bring me a nice strong coffee. Milk no sugar.
- I will also be outside the Mem on Friday night trying to flog dead horses, and copies, from around 7pm. Probably the entrance at the Memorial Gates. Cheeky banter is thrown in for free, as well as a small blue carrier bag so you don't look stupid carrying it into the game. I tried red ones, but for some reason they didn't work. A photo & flyer is also included.

In my own little effort to help the Fan's Forum Sponsor Club raise £1,200 to enter the BRFC 1883 Sponsors Club (see gasheads.org/thread/776/fans-forum-sponsor-club-2014), I will donate money from ANY copies of 'Away The Gas' sold through my website ( www.awaythegas.org.uk) until the end of March. It costs £9.99, including UK delivery. Delivery could be via post, or may even be by my own little feet if you live near any of my movements. ANY orders will result in a £2.50 donation to the FFSC fund. But if you order it and tell me you read about on this forum, I will donate £3.50.

So if enough of us bought it and tell you about it we could raise the money for the stadium build itself......come on everyone not quite but 'Every little helps' I was thinking along the lines that if you sold 10 million copies, that would make £35 million pounds for the FFSC who hopefully would hand it over to pay for the new stadium ?

Officially the best way to while away a long coach / train journey to Wembley. ‘Away The Gas’ let’s you wallow in over 50 years of ‘I was there’ moments, from Halifax Town in 1963 and Wembley [three times], to Pompey in 2014, and recalls why we cherish away days so much. Full details are on the website - www.awaythegas.org.uk - including a good look inside the book (cover pages, contents, introduction, 3 photo pages, and 9 text pages). 256 pages. £9.99 Mail OrderAvailable direct from me at www.awaythegas.org.ukIf you really prefer to buy via Amazon or eBay, it is there, but it will just be me sending it you to anyway. Shops / In personBoth the Club Shop at the Mem and the Supporters Club at Two Mile Hill Road have it in stock it. Beast, in the Corn Exchange (St.Nick's market), also have a few copies in stock (stall 50 in the Exchange Hall).

As promised above it is now June, so ATG is now the perfect Father's Day present [Sunday 21st June] £9.99, including UK delivery, for people with Fathers everywhere - shellshockpublishing.bigcartel.com/Sadly my own father died 23 years ago, so as I don't have a father to give one to, I will give a free copy to one fortunate person on this forum who thinks they have a really deserving father, and can't really afford to buy him one. PM me, and tell me why your Dad is so great, and might like one [by 11pm on Wednesday 3rd June]
